This hotel is in a great location. The room was a good size and had everything we needed - the esspresso machine being a nice touch. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Will definitely use again
I imagine rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy because of the busy road - ask for a room at the back
Great location, good bar and restaurant
modern rooms helpful staff
some staff a bit scruffy
The hotel staff are consistently positive, welcoming and personable. That gives the hotel a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The rooms are also clean, comfortable and well supplied/appointed. I do a lot of business in London and would not stay anywhere else.
I can't find anything to criticise actually.
Well appointed rooms and friendly staff. Very welcoming for a London hotel. Room was neat and clean, with one exception, but not sure it merited the hefty price tag. Wifi excellent.
Disappointed with the restaurant service, as the burger bun was so saturated in mustard it was impossible to eat, but the service was prompt and friendly. Very obvious stain on the couch was unfortunate in a four star hotel.
Good wifi and location.
TV remote distance doesn't reach the bed as the sky box is behind the TV. Phone in room doesn't work. When we checked out we advised them that it was not working, which they replied with "oh yeah they don't work in those rooms". Would've been nice to be told that upon check in. Light switches are randomly placed, it took us a considerable amount of time to find the switch to the cupboard No electrical socket in the 'cupboard' where the kettle is, had to plug the kettle in by the bedside Hot water takes ages to reach taps and the shower is absolutely awful. It has these weird jet things that if you accidentally turn the handle incorrectly, freezing cold water bursts out straight on to your chest and face. It could cause an accident from the shock of having freezing water propelled straight at you. Room in general was very cold and a portable heater was needed to get any warmth.
The room was very clean. It was very quiet. It has all what you need for a comfortable stay. The staf were helpful and friendly and the location is perfect.
The whole package just works - very cool cocktail bar, restaurant reasonably expensive but food is good and staff are very professional and friendly. Kings Cross offers walks along the canals and is a great node to get to all that London can offer. It is also a very up and coming area.
Spacious, well-situated, good wifi, reasonably quiet for so close to the station. Very clean and neat room (we had an apartment).
Shower door not well sealed by the floor, leaking water into bathroom and on into the bedroom. Breakfast not good value, better outside.
location, the room, staff was very friendly
Clean comftable and close to kings cross underground easy to get to all tourist attractions! Used baggage room staff really helpful.
Check out 11am wish it would of been 12 extra hour always helps!
Rooms clean, sky tv, convenient mini bar. Comfy beds. Good sized rooms. 1 minute from station
Location is excellent- fairly modern hotel in terms of decor, which makes it clean and not fussy. They have an elevator/lift, so if you have luggage, that's a plus. There is a restaurant on site that offers breakfast if you like, but there are many options for food in the area. Wifi is free; spotty at times though.
The bathroom, while a good size, is fairly open in that the shower doesn't have a door, but I guess the rain shower head is supposed to limit the splash - but nitpicking here- towels are big and fluffy.
The room was incredibly spacious and sky tv was a much enjoyed bonus.
Excellent location, the room (we upgraded to room 504) was simply awesome, couldn't fault anything at all...... Well done team Megaro
If you prefer a room that is quiet, then a room at the back of the hotel maybe better, it is definitely a city that doesn't sleep.
great size room, coffee and tea facilities WITH sugar and milk in the mini I (i hate powdered milk). We were celebrating an anniversary and birthday and they surprised us with complimentary use of the mini bar.
Being this close to the busiest train and metro station means it's quite noisy but I brought ear plugs and managed to sleep fine.
Expensive for breakfast
Clean, comfortable rooms Friendly staff Ideal for Kings Cross station
Lack of tv channels available
Very cold, heating system does not work....
Friendly staff Great freshly cooked breakfast Spacious standard room
Wifi in the room not good.
Spacious room, comfy bed, sky sports, relaxed feel of hotel and great little cafe to a rewasonable price.
Cleaners dont forget to clean under the bed! Ooops!
Good location, nice staff, good looking room
Bed was really comfortable
Noise from outside
Not hotel problem but the noise of the emergency sirens kept us awake until 3.00am!!
