Clean, tidy, friendly staff and good location.
Some traffic noise was experienced throughout the night.
Perfect location, good staff, nice breakfast, room was clean good place for short stay , good value for money
For this price location is just perfect - near National History Museum and Hyde Park. The room was clean and prepared for our stay. Wifi connection was very good. Nice staff. I can really recommend this place for those who are looking for cheap but good hotel/hostel in a great location.
Bathroom could be a little bit bigger, but for few nights you can live with it.
Poor bathroom, springs pushing through mattress, no tea making facility. Very poor value for money, do not stay here.
The price was very good, as was the location and the ability to buy tickets to attractions in London was useful!
The wifi was poor in our room.
This is more of a youth hostel. Older visitors may not like the dorm-like accommodations and the tiny bathroom.
The hostel was perfect. It was clean and in an ideal location for shopping and sight-seeing. I have stayed there twice and would stay again.
Very bed cleanliness, bed bathroom, beds are uncomfortable.
Free WiFi in all building Cheap Good situation Good buffet Friendly staff
Uncomfortable beds Bathroom (extremely small but clean)
Central to where I needed to be
No tea making facility Uncomfortable bed Very noisy
Very close to the metro station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Very quiet, it's like a proper hotel!! It's definitely worth your visit!!
Everything was great, but maybe the toilet in the 6 bed apartment could have been bigger minor detail though..
Location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean room
The wi-fi connection isn't very stable
single member of staff incredibly busy room not ready at 3pm due to bedding delay
Location and cleanliness
Didn't realise it was so basic. No hair dryer, iron, tea making facilities and bathroom was very, very small considering it was a triple/family room.
We travelled in a family of 2 adults & 4 children. We have stayed here before & can say if you are looking for a base for a couple of nights, but also perhaps to spend some time resting between exploring London, this is ideal. Conveniently located, clean & friendly staff. You can also leave your bags before check-in & after checking-out (a lifesaver).
Wi fi Price Comfort Location TV
Reception staff Dodgy electrics in room Bathroom old and dated Shower awful
One of our part was last back on Sat evening and front door to Meininger was wide open. We were told it would be closed after 11pm and that security would have to let us in. The mattress and pillows are very poor quality and no mattress protectors are in place.
Location Breakfast was good value
Room temp controlled at reception En-suite to small
the 1st (and may not be the only) good thing about this place is the location. quite near to south kensington tube station (picadilly line) that lead you to/fro london heathrow and city center. there are also quite few of interesting restaurants in vicinity of south kensington station. the last good thing about this place is the bathroom. My room was connected into a bathroom for the disabled, but somehow locked from inside and can only be accessed from my room. Powerful shower, warm water and all, and very big. Bigger than my room itself.
It's not a hotel. More like a hostel. Breakfast time stated to start on 630. One day I had to leave at 7 oçlock. There was no staff, no food, nothing at all in the dining room even at 640am. When I asked the lady staff at the reception counter, she said the staff manning the dining room could be in the bathroom. Perhaps, they better not preparing the breakfast in the bathroom!! In the end, I didn't use the GBP 5.90 they charged for breakfast. Not recommended for business travellers.
Location is perfect as well as cleanliness and furniture. Staff really kind and polite.
The bathroom was too small but ok. Some hangers for jackets and shirts would be nice.
Location Breakfast was good value
Bathroom too small Only place to put luggage was on the sofa which left nowhere to sit. No accessible power outlets for hair dryer and mobile chargers.
Luggage room, available for free before the check-in and after check-out Nice and tidy rooms and beds with air-con
Nearly non-existent WiFi signal in the room, good signal was around the reception only One small lift for 6 floors, always packed with people and getting stuck
everything was good
Air conditioned does not work.
not enough electric points only one pillow each top bunk beds not made only one towel given for six people nothing worked in games area
