Great location We are not people looking for luxury. But this hostel (want to be a hotel) was awful. We were given a double room that had an obstructed sink, a tv that could not work and last but not least there was no heating. We were frozen to death in London with 4 celsius . We repeatedly complain but there was cold air coming out of the airconditioning system. They refuse to change room or refund or book us a room in an other nearby hotel as a decent hotel ought to have done. In addition the lift was out of order (our room was on the 5th floor). They had send us e-mail notifying this but only after the booking and after they have charged our credit card. Do not go there!!!!!!!

Location only There were no towels in the room, then when I asked for towels at reception, I was allowed only one towel as I was a "single". Breakfast was very "spartan" (not much). Bed was uncomfortable. It was very noisy in the evening w/ several unsupervised kids going up & down the hall. Facilities (bathroom & bedroom) looked more like a converted hospital or student dormitory than a hotel.

It was very good value for a short stay in London. The location was also excellent. The beds were very uncomfortable, Also we wanted a drink upon our arrival but could not as the lady on reception was also responsible for the cafe and she told us she was too busy to serve us.

The localization is just perfect, in front the Natural History Museum. The accommodations are not that good but for price they are quite ok. The underground is just a few minutes walking from the hotel. The breakfast it's also good! :) For the price it's ok, but the matrices on the beds should be a bit better...

Very practical and no frills hotel at a very reasonable price in a very central part of London. We arrived in the middle of the night but we had no proboem at all. The lightining in the room was neon light, which is disturbing. The bathroom is very small, likje airplane style. The lift was not working because on manteinance(but we received an email which informed us about this beforehand)

We liked the position. It is located in a strategic part of London wich is good. It's really closed to city center. Underground station is 5 minutes walk. We didn't like the bathroom was really small, similar to the airplane toilet. Staff told me later for the hairdryer, so I walk down and up for the steps three times for have one. Mattress and pillows were unconfortable. In the room there were not enough towels for both of us.

It was in a good location for the underground service and the area of London we were visiting, a concert at the Albert Hall, It was too basic for our taste, and we did not realise this from the site on which we found the hotel. I hospitality tray in the room would have improved it.

It was very basic compared to what I am used to; but it served its purpose. Bathroom is a plastic cubicle; basically like a caravan! In both style and size!

Accomodation was as we had expected - people have commented on this hotel being spartan (so what?) and the need to collect towels from reception, but this is a minor point that really didn't detract from our stay. The location is great, and the staff friendly and helpful. Only real criticism was that some of the mattresses were a lumpy, with the springs not being adequately padded. Only other comment is that it would be nice to have fruit juices offered at breakfast, rather than just squash - but then I guess that would push the price up.
