MEININGER Hotel London Hyde Park

The hotel is really great if you want a good night's sleep in an excellent location for a good price, with no frills. The hotel is Baden Powell House, and headquarters of the Boy Scouts Association, so expect groups of young teenagers, and "youth hostel" atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and helpful and for a stop-over, I cannot fault it.

Location, but when weighted to the bad things, there are plenty of nice hotels much more better

Staff... The guy in the reception made ironic remarks about visitors english and was not helpfull at all. The hotel smells terrible. A plane bathroom is bigger and more comfortable. I could feel the means in the mattreses, in the end I slept in the floor. The hotel is noisy and very dirty

very near from every spots. especially natural history museum, albert hall...

continuous noise from toilet or air conditioner?? at night. I do not know what it was exactly from..

Conveniece for our needs, friendly and very helpfull staff and excellent value for money. We have used it before and will certainly do so again.

the location was excellent. and he staf were very very brilliant

the shower in my roon was dredfull. i usually take ten or fifteen mins. i eas in there 40 or more b-coz the water was running so slow i couldnt get all the shampoo out of my hair...

Location was great.

Bathroom was very small but we knew that it was a hostel. The sheets and pillow cases were very clean but the duvets and pillows themselves could have done with replacing.

Sa localisation à proximité des musées ( v et a, Histoire et Science ), du Royal Albert Hall, de Hyde Park et des lieux de shopping ( Harrods etc ..)

Son manque de confort ( pas de rideaux aux fenètres - matelas à ressort inconfortable ) son insuffisance de propreté ( ménage fait une seule fois en 4 jours - linge de toilette insuffisant ) et son bruit ambiant venant du couloir en raison des portes mal jointes

Es ist teilweise wie eine Jugendherberge, aber alles ok. Preis ist sehr günstig, hat eine sehr gute Lage (U-Bahn 4 Minuten).

Esta en una zona muy céntrica, con acceso fácil al metro y al bus. Andando se llega al Hide Park en 4 minutos y al Science Museum y Natural History Museum en 3.

En la propaganda hay wifi gratis en zonas comunes. La semana anterior a nuestra estancia pregunte por mail para confirmar esto. La respuesta fue que si, que era gratis en zonas comunes. Al llegar la sorpresa fue que no era cierto, (la explicación fue que hasta un mes antes si era gratis, ahora ya no) Hay que pagar 1L por 15 minutos o la cuota económica nuestra fue 8L por 7 dias de conexion. No es demasiado, pero no es lo que pone la propaganda ni lo que me confirmaron por mail una semana antes.

At madrassene blir byttet ut, en kunne kjenne fjærene meget godt. Litt misvisende å kalle det et hotell, det er et vandrerhjem. Frokosten kunne med fordel vært mer sund og næringsrik.
