Pool was a little cool. Decor is a little dated in places. Sheets and blankets.
loud bed :)
Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel wasn't very full so we often had the pool to ourselves which the children loved. Good location. We were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was good with reasonably wide range of options. Beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet.
Decor, bed linen and soft furnishings were very tired, carpets had been vacuumed but were stained and old, especially in the bathroom. The room was small for a family, OK for a couple of days but no longer. The room had been superficially cleaned (as long as you didn't look too closely in corners etc). Not the cheapest hotel.
Friendly staff. Lovely location. Room very clean and comfortable. Clean pool and jacuzzi. Great choice for breakfast
very friendly staff good quality food convenient for shops and beach room was very spacious
decoration is dated car parking a bit chaotic at times
I want to say that my stay at the hotel was excellent. The staff are polite and helpful and always smiling. The hotel is situated in an ideal position and i can certainly recommend it.
Nothing....and that is the truth
the Location with the bus close by( queens road) not far from town pool with spa and sauna good breakfast, weekend entertainment.
noises close to my room
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.
The hotel is a little dated, but clean and comfortable
extremely friendly, helpful staff our dog was made to feel equally welcome indoor pool a bonus good breakfast choice beach only a short walk away
parking was a bit tricky, too many 4WDs including ours!
Good location and quiet.
Lack of hygiene and a member of staff who argued with us during breakfast. We felt very uncomfortable and aggrieved. Although we later got an apology, this seemed more like an automated response. Other members of staff appeared to be under terrible strain which was also uncomfortable. Breakfast was very small and decor was very '80s'. The pool area looked dirty and unloved. We were very disappointed by the whole experience which was also very expensive.
Great staff...very accommodating. ....leisure facilties were fantastic..ie..jacuzzi. ..pool and sauna. ..good entertainment on the sat and sun evenings...this should be better advertised as alot of people went out...well worth the visit.
Our only small criticism was that although the food was lovely it tended to arrive a little cold.We didn't like to complain because every one was so nice.
The staff could not do enough to assist and they certainly like to have a laugh. A great team spirit and they go the extra mile
Hotel could do with some TLC to improve the overall presentation but to be honest the staff make up for it.
Very friendly staff. Children enjoyed the swimming pool.
Dirty cups and the noise from the people in the room above.
Staff, facilities, location, family facilities ie interlocking rooms, value for money, basically all of it!!
Double bed was a little too soft and the twin room was a little dark but very minor issues
friendly staff pool comfortable beds convenient location
poor quality evening meal parking restricted by allowing parking of coaches in front of hotel
My son and I stayed here at the weekend as a last minute booking. Decor is dated and upstairs corridor very warm with a spooky teddy bear in a cot! The staff were very friendly, room and bathroom very clean with a view across to the sea. Breakfast was freshly cooked and it was ideal for our stay. Swimming pool was small but fine - I was the only one in it early morning.
However, the only thing that lets this area down is the communal changing room, communal showers with no door and sauna that hadn't been switched on. I didn't want to trail through the hotel soaking wet but it wasn't possible to shower after the swim as there was no privacy. This needs addressing to make it more attractive to use.
Great spacious family room. Kind helpful staff. Lovely swimming pool.
Has two major selling points. The wonderful swimming pool and the excellent, friendly and helpful staff who will do anything to help. The breakfast is good and the dinner served is also good. Not massive portions either which is not a criticism.
The rooms were a little dated.
The staff were very helpful and gave us a room near the lift for our elderly Labrador. Position of hotel is fantastic for beach and old village. Pool was also good for that rainy day.
Comfort of bed. Clean room. Well cooked and presented full English. Very welcoming staff.
The swimming pool was good and the location of the hotel, nice staff and pleasant dining room
It was very quiet at night, came back at 11 hoping for entertainment and a drink and the bar was just closing , bit early to go to bed when you are on your holidays !!!!!
Great location to explore, great hotel, very friendly helpful staff, dog friendly, walking distance to shops, beach, restaurants etc.
Room was fine but bed was very soft so not a great sleep for us. Realise others may like a soft bed tho!
The staff were very friendly and the rooms were comfortable. The food was very good. It had an indoor swimming pool
