Melbourne House Hotel

the location was excellent and the reception staff very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable with clean towels daily.

the breakfast was basic with no real choice,rather pricey for the time of year, the stairs are quite steep and narrow i was on the top floor with my young grandson, however, reception staff did carry our case upstairs, once there the views were amazing. This hotel would'nt be suitable for people who have problems with mobility as the dining room is also down some quite steep steps.

The location was great near Victoria station and Pimlico tube station. Pimclico is quiet and peaceful city inside the city within walking distance from house of parliament and other attractions. The hotel was clean and kept well the staff was helpful. The breakfast was better than I though for this room price. Only negative thing was because it was served quite short time and the breakfast room was then full of clients. Basic single room is very basic, but what the heck: it`s clean, there is sink and c.tv and four walls. You dont`t need anything else,if the hotel for you is just an place to get some rest. I highly recommend Melbourne House Hotel for travelers who appreciates location,cleanliness, functionality and good value for the money!

Very basic but comfortable room. Great bathroom/shower. Nice that the wardrobe actually had hangers and usable shelves. Location is great for major sites and Tube access. Good place if all you really want is a place to sleep, shower and store your luggage.

Wool blankets on beds. No lift. Breakfast did not offer much for those with any special diet needs. Would have liked an option to pay less for room and skip the breakfast. The room doors close very loudly throughout the building. Internet access is only available to the first floor. Would have at least liked wired access on floors above that to avoid lots of up and down the stairs and to be able to use computer privately.

Friendly staff, and the location in a beautiful street, right near Underground stations and the City Centre.

Very small rooms, nothing but the necessary comfort, but still priced quite highly.

Very friendly stuff, very helpful

Even though the room was very small, it was clean all the time. Staff was very kind and he gave some advice to me for sightseeing. The room was pretty quiet, and could have a good sleep there. I could walk from the hotel to Victoria station, and it was close. I also could take a bus (It took only 2 min to get there). I think this hotel is good for tourist who only needs the place to sleep, not for someone wants to relax.

The owner and staff were v friendly and helpful.

I would have love an en-suite, $ permiting!

Staff are very helpful , room is very clean , breakfast is very nice and the location is very great , in the heart of london few minutes walk to london sight seeings and london tube station
