A beautiful hotel, high quality place to stay and the price wasn't that bad. If you are ok with spending 1xx pounds per night I can almost guarantee you won't find a better hotel in Camden or Islington for that price. The rooms are a bit small but that's expected everywhere in London. I also think that their policy on room booking is a bit ridiculous. Price when I phoned them was 70 pounds higher than booking.com. Didn't have breakfast so I can't commend on that but a friend of mine who did said it wasn't at all satisfactory. |

very polite and helpful staff; good lobby, bar and public circulation areas; good size comfortable bed; good location for tube stations and Regents Park room (classic) was very small with bathroom impractically so; breakfast not included in deal and was prohibitively expensive |

Location The overall stay was appalling. I had reserved 9 rooms in total, one for the Operations Director of the company. However even though the room was a guaranteed booking, they did not reserve the superior room we requested and paid for and totally made a complete mess of changing his room for the 2nd night of his stay. The staff were difficult to understand, check-out was chaotic and we are still awaiting a phone call from the hotel having spoken and left 2 business cards that evening. |

good food in the bar area.General public areas looked very well .Good facilities are available. room exceptionally small and dark old net curtains and very low level of comfort. My room felt clostrophobic and old .The general standard of furniture in the room was poor.I felt a bit betrayed when i saw my room based on the higher standards throughout the hotel. It is important to have a nice room to relax in . |

Central location, good public transport availability. Food and drinks in hotel massively overpriced and then gratuities added automatically. |

The Hotel is in excellent condition, our room was exactly what we asked for, and even though it was over the main entrance, it was not noisy. The staff were very polite and helpful and everything about the hotel was perfect. We tarvelled to London for eye surgery and this hotel was extremely conveneient for Harley Street.I would rate this hotel as ten out of ten for everything and would definitely stay again. |

Rooms are cozy ie quite small (as is the bathroom) but very quiet. Beds are comfortable. Location by the Regent's Park and only a short taxi ride (or tube ride) from St Pancras station for the Eurostar. |

Junior suite was large and comfortable. Inability of room service (a) to answer phone, then later (b) to understand an attempted food order. Charging for internet access when guest is paying £250 room night. TV broken on check in to room (albeit fixed promptly on request). Inability of Melia systems to identify a loyalty scheme membership number and to link this stay to that account for points. |

The Hotel is central to shopping in Oxford and Reagent Streets and the rooms comfortable. It is situated in a safe area of London within easy walking distance to Reagents Park and High Streets. It is certainly worth booking into the "V" Executive Rooms as facilities, which include breakfast and the the all day use of the "V" lounge, is very convenient. The hotel is a favourite of ours having stayed there 4 times before. However, we felt that the service and staff were not as efficient as on previous visits. Staff in-service training requires attention. Staff are generally helpful, however there was evidence of a lack of experience and finesse, expected in a hotel of this standard. A particular disappointment was the a la carte restaurant, "Albufera", which cuisine we had always found to be very enjoyable and of a high standard in the past, however, on this occasion provided a very mediocre and tasteless meal, not in keeping with its reputation.Breakfasts were rather expensive for the selection provided and which were better on past visits. |

We liked the buffet breakfast and the attention at the front desk. I didn't like the size of the room (too small), and also that even though we had booked a taxi and pre-paid it, the taxi driver was late and his office hadn't registered the payment (I don't know if it was a fault from the hotel, but it caused us to waste precious time for checking in at the airport). |
