Just one member of staff had bad attitude towards helping to any extent with water being cold in shower and sink. Did not move from her desk, with quite rude replies. Eventually she phoned my room and said it was her mistake the hot water was not switched on and that it was now. Still didn't get up. Apart from her the rest of the staff we like family, absolutely brilliant.

Advertised as 3 star and was...rather than a 1/2 star dive which is what Londion 3 satrs generally offer. £8.75 charge additional for using a credit card...unacceptable regardless if its mentioned somewhere in the terms or not. I may not stay here again purely on that point alone, yet it was fone for a 3 star with a good breakfast and attentive staff.

Due to rail disruptions, I was unable to get home so booked the hotel at short notice. I was made to feel very welcome by the Front of House Manager, who even made a point of checking the trains the following morning so he could tell me what was going on. I greatly appreciated that. As others have said, the rooms were a little on the small side but were clean and contained everything you'd need. I would suggest the hotel considers tea and coffee making facilities in the room though.

It was nice. But the lady seving the breakfast unexpectably terribly rude. She even used abusive language. Highly shocking. On falling of very small bread piece by 2 year old baby she abused us. Hotel was good. Reception staff was good, but lady serving lunch need to be replaced .

The staff was real friendly, the room cleaning was very good, the location is quite convenient. Issues with Wi-Fi (for which the hotel had charged me a fee) which would refuse to function from time to time.

Friendly, uncomplicated service. My single room was quite adequate. The only meal I had was a traditional breakfast which was quite satisfactory. The room was a little cramped, especially the bathroom. Tea/coffee was not available in the room. An annoying cold draught was coming from the window above the rather firm bed.

staff very friendly. Location good for central London. the family room was very small. The age of the child meant that we were back fairly early and had nowhere to sit in the room. The siting of the tv meant that we had to put the child in the double bed and then move her to her bed later on. The tv could only be seen from the child's bed. We went by price, and thought it was expensive for what was on offer.

The location was ideal to see Wicked at the Apollo. It was in a beautiful setting and very quiet. The rooms were too warm and as our room was on the ground floor we did not want to sleep with the windows open.

The position of the hotel is central (10min from Victoria Station) in a quiet area, with some pubs and restaurants in the area. The room is small but it's complete of everything - even a fridge - and the bathroom is clean. That's what I need when I'm in London - not big spaces but a clean, quiet room to rest after my walks in the city. The staff is polite and gentle, and the hotel looks nice. Not a big choice for the breakfast, although I am not used to eat a lot for breakfast.

Clean. Staff pleasant. No soap in shower cabinet soap dispenser. With window open in room, the wind made the window rattle. The room was very, very small for two people. The stairs (no lift) were narrow and suitcases difficult to carry up. The breakfast was limited (either toast/preserves or cooked). The orange juice glass was so small it could not have been used as a thimble (too small for my finger). The breakfast tables were cleaned before we had finished eating and the smell of detergent was not pleasant. The car park was 5-10 minutes walk away and cost £24 for a day.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff great. Having a cooked breakfast served to your table by pleasant staff, is a real treat after European continental buffets! Expensive wifi, when other hotels provide free.
