Mellington Hall Hotel  

Mellington is in a fantastic location for enjoying a relaxing weekend break. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The location is truly wonderful. The entrance hall/check in desk is very nice and olde worldly. The cooked breaktfast was also good quality and well presented. The staff were very helpful.

I thought that as there were only a couple of rooms taken the night we stayed that wde could have been given a complimentary room upgrade as we were first time visitors to the hotel. Our room had only a standard size double bed which is rare these days, most hotels of this claimed standard offer king or queen beds. This was disappointing. The building in places is tired and in a questionable state of repair. But overall the hotel was satisfactory.

The beautiful country house and architecture... It is obviously steeped in history.

Hotel advertises free wifi - part of my reason for chosing this hotel. However, the signal is weak and I was unable to download emails on my laptop or iphone...not hotel's fault...just think it is their location. This is more of a wedding or Events venue, and romantic/historical venue - rather than business.

impressive facade and front lawns

nothing in details suggested that in the back of the hotel was a large caravan park. The room itself was missing simple things like tissues, bottled water, shampoo and conditioner.

very little except that the menu could have more evtensive,also you hadn't got any french or dijon mustard other than that ver nice

The whole weekend experience was absolutely fantastic From the excellent service to the unique atmosphere of this wonderful building and grounds. A most enjoyable stay

Location entering the hall was secluded and rural. Staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local attractions and beauty spots. Excellent fillet steak.

The family room had a small annex with two proper beds rather than a sofa bed. This was so much more comfortable for our teenage children and gave us all more privacy.

Beautiful location and great atmosphere. Staff very welcoming and always helpful and smiling. Room layed out nicely, clean and tidy great veiws. Food and service fantastic, an experience I am glad I took advantage of and would repeat again.

Generally good and friendly service of good quality.

Sometimes the restaurant service was a little slow
