The staff made our visit, always ready to answer a question or sort out a problem.
Outside jacuzzi especially as weather warm and sunny, also whirlpool bath in room - although difficult to get out of and could have been improved with handles. Good food and staff friendly and helpful.
We are a middle aged couple, not a young couple or a mature couple - this answer needs to be added to the first question.
We camo for weekend only for one night. Was going around iland all day so were exousted then came to hotel. The staff was friendly and helpfull. We had wery relaxing evening in outside pool and jackuzzi, having drinks from bar. It was what we needed after long day.
one of bath towel had brown stains, was not wery nice... and had wake up call at 7am which we havent request

Lovely staff specialy there was a guy work at the late hours reception and bar (neol)
Very small bathroom. Being on the ground floor. A superior room that wasn't!!!
Even though there was some confusion the staff were very lovely and courteous , trying very hard to sort things out without causing any upset to us , not only that but the hotel was comfortable
That we had to leave
the staff breakfast
not suitable for elderly people no lifts not disable friendly furniture and décor was dated Booking.com did not state the hotel was not suitable for elderly or people with disabilities
Liked the spa facilities. Was lovely wandering around in a white robe!
Hotel needs a reburbishment as it looks a bit tired.
A lovely outside swimming pool we enjoyed every day of are stay , plus bar and good food made for lovely time .
Because the rooms have fin walls it can be hard to get to sleep with people coming in later in the night .
Outdoor pool and spa
Room needed updating and redecorating
Lovely relaxing place and the staff are wonderful - very friendly and helpful
Only complaint is there is no air conditioning so the rooms were a little too warm
Outdoor and indoor pools and Jacuzzis, Breakfast, very comfy clean room and bathroom. Staff were friendly.
Everything about this hotel was first class
The staff were beyond helpful and were fantastic
Our room was in serious need of updating from the 1990s gold decor, lumpy mattress and bedding. Nowhere near what you'd expect for over £130 a night, it wasn't worth more than £80
Cant say there was anything that wasnt good apart from not being able to book treatments, will need to look at booking these at time of booking hotel, it would be nice if they had a few places for guest when they stay or let people know how busy it can get.
lack of lift.
Great location and base for walking and access to Sandown beach. Good restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff. Feels well managed. Good to have access to the Spa facilities within B&B rate.
When i first arrived at the hotel i was very impressed with the look of the hotel, and the outside parking, When i entered the hotel i was still not disappointed as there was a lovely spa outside pool. Also a very nice dining room with an excellent menu. I felt immediately at home.
We liked the surroundings and the warm welcome on arrival. To find excellent rooms and clean. We felt that we was abroad not in the U.K. Weather was good to loads of sun. But we thought that even if it rain it would of be excellent to. Food was out of this world great chef and staff nothing was a problem . Would we go again !!!! Mmmmm of course we would every year from now on. See you guys soon.
It was good to have the sauna, IR booth and pools to relax in during out stay. The hotel had a relaxed atmosphere in general, but the rooms and décor were dated and in need of a refresh.
Really disappointed by the breakfast. It was great to have fresh fruit from the buffet table, but the cooked breakfast was indescribably bad and we couldn't eat any of it.
very friendly & helpful. spa excellent. good choice of food especially breakfast.
too many stairs & passages for 2 seniors to reach our room on the top floor.
The swimming pools, indoor & out were lovely. (Apart from the outside one having the walls & floor painted black??!) The jacuzzi's were good too. The food was very nice, both breakfast & evening meals.
The room was very warm (due to hot weather) but there was no fan or air conditioning. Also the worse part for us was the lack of sound proofing, and we could here conversations in the adjoining rooms, and their TV, and people in the shower/bahrooms.
The staff were so friendly & welcoming nothing was too much trouble for them, & having access to the spa facilities was great.
Our room was very stuffy during the very hot nights, but staff provided a fan which was a big help.
General facilities all round. Helpfullness of staff
Would have liked a change in the evening meal menu from time to time
