Staff were very friendly and obliging. Our room was very well equipped and very clean. Cumfy bed and very nice bed linen.
Would have liked a small fridge to store water ad rooms are not aîr conditioned so can get a little warm.
Would be better if it had a hair dryer and shampoo
Location was great, very close to King's Cross station
Wifi service was very poor
Convenient to Kings Cross and St Pancras Station.
Good location within easy walking distance of Kings Cross / St Pancras
Very small rooms, and no lift - only a very narrow staircase.
How clean everything was, the staff was lovely and very help full going to book again for my next trip
We stayed in The Melville for 3 nights, the location was perfect as it was a two minute walk from kings cross station. It was really clean and very modern with friendly staff.
Our room had a sky light in it that had no blind, so I was woken up quite early most mornings with the light coming in.
Location is very close to the international station
Beds are uncomfortable and very small. We paid for a double bed but we could barely fit on it both. The bathrooms are small with a sink not much bigger than my hand. The room was very very small and the bed was only accessible from one side.
Great staff Excellent nights sleep Convenience to transport links
Just needs a little more attention to cleaning
St Pancras International and metro within easy walking distance and helpfull staff. Clean (though small) rooms.
Noisy outside during weekend. We heard a dramatic break-up one night (lasted 2 hours, at 03:00 am... Maria did not love him anymore) and lots of drunks on the other night as we had a room on the street-side.
The location is excellent and staff very efficient. Love the entrance of the Melville but were sad to be in the less elegant Albion!
The bedroom was ultra small but that was not the issue, the shower room was in a poor state and should be deep cleaned more often. Noisy guests disturbed sleep. For one night it was ok but for no longer!
Great location, comfortable bed.
Double bed was tiny. Sheets/towels had a weird odour. The room was next to the reception and the door had no sound proofing what so ever, kept up all night by night staff chatting and stayers returning. The evening after i was covered in bites on my arm/hand.
Stay here on Saturday night as we were getting the Euro star at 11am on the Sunday. It's a 3 min way from kings cross. The hotel is so clean and spotless. Lovely services and it's right on the tube too.
Location to station
Noisey front door
We enjoyed our stay in this very attractive hotel. We were lucky enough to get the family room so absolutely no problem with size of the room. Very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The area is very noisy at night and this did disturb our sleep somewhat.
Location, Very clean, Polite staff.
Internet was intermittent on occasions, had to search through various hotel options.
Small room Not value for money
Excellent location, knowledgable & helpful staff, honest: forgot my computer there & it was returned to me very promptly.
Breakfast only so-so
Location at King's Cross is great!
Noise was coming out of the bathroom at night (something wrong with the pump), so we couldn't sleep. The towels were not changed daily, they were just smoothed. We paid extra for bigger room but got a regular one.
I really liked the hotel. it was a surprise for me. So clean. The detale of the decoration. The stuff. Everything so beatifull and nice. the location is perfect. Close to the main station of the city, king's cross. From there you can take bus, train, or underground.
The one think I did not like, and I had read something about it was that the noise from another rooms can be heard. Peole talking, showering,... but I'd still stay there.
location was excellent , yards from kings cross station and lots of bars and cafes close by.
small room with no wardrobe, we were greeted with "have you booked" rather than hello! , shown to 2nd floor room up some very steep stairs and were only asked if he could help with the bags when he was nearly at the top. Small things but made a difference to the experience.
Location PRICE FOR LOCATION...So close to kings cross felt friendly, relaxed, on a small quiet side street off kings cross
no lift BUT hey we all need that exercise?!
The location was perfect for St Pancras station - we had an early train to catch. The room was very small and hot, certainly wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night in a room this size.
