Staff was very friendly. Good location.

It was close to St Pancras just a few mins walk..perfect. The beds were super compy & it was clean.

No lift..so hard for my daughter & I to lift our suitcase up 3 flights.

Situation

- No desk for working in the room, just a bed and bathroom - dirty towels

Pillow cases didn't appear to be clean, and during the night I was bitten 20-30 times by some insect/s - this was mid April. I told the hotel and they apologised and promised to refund the fee.

The hotel is a scam. The will charge you between 2% and 5% more than the price agreed on Booking with the excuse that this is the fee for paying with VISA. That IS NOT acceptable as users booking through the Booking site always provide the credit card and therefore they should privde the increased prices in first place. The person at the desk is very unfriendly, and despite you showing him the booking confirmation with the agree price will pay not attention, and because they already have your credit card number the amount is already charged in your VISA. I did not sign the VISA receipts, but still they won't refund, so you have no other option that to stay as the room has already been charged. I have issued a complain to Booking about this. The TV was not working. The WiFi, although free, keeps droping every few minutues, so it is not possible to browse properly, so you have to go the the reception to be able to use it. The shower was either too hot (so much that it was hurting) or too cold. I could not get just warm water. The shower is so small that it becomes really uncomfortable.

Small but modern and clean room, nice location near station/tube and restaurants (but still nice ans quiet)! No need to take breakfast in the hotel, there are plenty of other places around.

I couldnt get a good temperature in the shower (or cold or hot)

heavy doors (but understand why) banged a bit and sometimes when the room next door moved about sounded like they were in our room. but that was all

A very good hotel. Although it is advertised as a 2-star hotel, it looks more like a very good 3-star hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Courteous staff, rooms are small but well equipped and you can see that they have tried hard to make them distinctive. Free reliable WiFi. I have no hesitation in booking again.

Depending on the room, noise can carry from other parts of the hotel. Breakfast wasn't brilliant.

For excessively expensive London, this was a quiet and clean refuge. Room was a cubbyhole but that's what we were paying for. Very nice staff who want to please.

These sweet people clearly built these rooms themselves. The construction was a hit amateur as they put light switches in to te headboard right where ones pillows go. So, as you can imagine, we inadvertently turned on the lights a few times each night as we slept!

It was a lovely place to stay, clean, close to all the amenities and a real comfort bed was supplied. The service was excellent and would recommend to stay there for people who wish to visit the uk.

Probably the only thing I found a challenge was the wash basin was a bit small and often if you would wash your face you needed to be careful not to get more water on the floor than the wash basin. But the rest was great.

Slow and intermittent wifi. Bed too soft. Very small room for 2 people plus bags. Paper thin walls, could hear everything.

The location of room (No 45) is too close to reception, which can be extremely noisy at times (talking, phone, doorbell)..I would request a different room if I stayed here again

The hotel was ideal for what I wanted - no complaints
