Let's start with the positives. The surrounding area is pretty nice to look at.
Quite frankly was the worst place I have stayed.
Upon arrival our room was not ready, even though check in time was stated on our receipt as 12. Therefore we got shafted with another room which was a lot worse than the one we ended up in. Of course I asked that we were moved to a double room instead of a twin. After much deliberation around this we were told if we came back later the would have a double room ready, not exactly ideal since we were told check in was 12!
However, we went about our day and returned a few hours later, got the keys to our new room and entered. Much better than the other room for sure though, if you expect it to look like the pictures than think again. This was merely a bed in a room with a bathroom, pretty basic, pretty ugly and completely deceived. But, oh well, were only here for 1 night I thought, 1 night of the most uncomfortable sleep (or lack of).
The bed itself is tiny, not sure this is a double bed and if it is, was the most uncomfortable ever. For a man and a woman to sleep on this was unreasonable. Hence I spent most my night awake and squashed, when I finally did get some sleep I was awoken at 7am by running, slamming, banging and talking coming from upstairs, I can only assume these are the owners headquarters. So I am sitting here waiting for this stay to be over and I put on the tv, *correction* try to put on the tv. Of course it doesn't work, typical.
Don't expect this to be in a nice building either. They are rooms conjoined to each other in a chalet outlay. Chalet you say? No not the nice warm log chalets in the Swiss alps, the chalets in butlins and quite honestly, butlins would have been nicer than this.
Lesson learned - don't compromise on price and certainly never trust somewhere that is non refundable and asks for your money upfront, I have since realised why!
