Room size very good for London, clean and functional, with flat screen TV and tea/coffee facilities in the room. Ensuite bathroom clean and fully equipped. Great & quiet location in Bloomsbury - close to St. Pancras (Eurostar), within walking distance of centre, big bus tour pick-up around the corner. Substantial Breakfast Great value!

The hotel was excellent, easy to find, equidistant from Kings Cross/St Pancras and Euston stations and very handy for the tube and tourist facilities. The staff were friendly and polite and the breakfast was hot and tasty. The room was spotless as were all the public areas. I have already recommended this hotel to relatives and friends who are going to London in the Spring/Summer

The location, one of the guys at the reception and most of all, the best thing is the hotel's kitchen staff and restaurant. The two girls working in the restaurant during breakfast are always willing to help and serve you all that I ask with a smile and incredible kindness of a 5 stars. Very pretty and very nice both. A 10 to them. The rooms were very small and the bathroom was of those who have the same ground for both the shower and the rest of the bathroom. So if you took a shower the water flooded all ... When have any questions or to check in or check out we were 3 people attended. One was a boy about 25 years very dark and slanted eyes and strong fitness life forgive you every time you approached the front desk. A horrible and rude treatment. I do not know how you can be working with the public. The 2nd person was a boy of about 30 years with fair skin and very friendly and willing. And the 3rd person was a woman of about 30 newly arrived from the suburbs of London and with less education than a gypsy. Horrible. Much noise in the rooms and poorly ventilated restaurant area. You went out with his clothes smelling of food for the day ...

Double room was spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice at breakfast. Excellent location, quiet at night and the tube only a few minutes away. I would stay here again and have already recommended it to colleagues.

It was convenient distant to St Pancras station for our onward destination to Paris. The staff were very efficient and pleasant especially at breakfast time when dining room ws very busy, The room was very clean and and decent size, There was no lift and our room was on the second floor with quite a few stairs. The dining room was a little small for the number of people staying there and it meant people were standing around waiting for others to vacate before they could sit down. There was no hair dryer in the room but was available from reception.

In one word "LOUIS ". The entire staff was fabulous, room very clean, breakfast delicious. My wife had taken a fall and neded a wheelchair. Louis arranged for the use of a chair, met us at the door when he was on duty, made certain that we had excellent directions and made our stay very plesant. Location of Mentone is extremely good and I recomend without reservation. Thanks to all

Location was great for our planned night out - hotel was quiet and efficent. Queuing for breakfast - not a good start to the day. Not enough staff. Would be nice if reception staff smiled when you arrived (Friday night) .

Happy friendly staff, and the fact that they placed us on the lower ground floor when I asked them too because we are old and have Arthrictic Knees and some stair climbing issues. Everything spotlessly clean, ease of access, keys available, excellent location for us as we like to bus around London, good links from there . Will definitly book again.

The place is in the center and the neighberhood is really nice. It was freaking cold during the night! The receptionist explained that they switch off the heating every 3 hours for the next 3 hours.... And that I should have asked for additional fan. Well, I would do that if I knew that they do such stupid thing when it's below 0 degrees Celsius. I came back with bad memories and a cold. So ask for additional heating, or wear your cap all night.

Good sized clean bright family room No hot water at all on one of the two mornings we stayed Long wait (20- 30 mins) for a seat for breakfast. The staff did as well as anyone could; problem arose due to trying to fit too many people into too small a dining area.

spotlessly clean, rooms are bright, the beds comfortable and you can leave your luggage at reception after you have vacated the room which saves you from having to leave them in a locker at the train station. We found the strong smell of breakfast cooking in the corridors a little unpleasant in the morning.

It met our needs. Was a comfortable bed and our room was super quiet. The location was between two underground stations and neither was a long walk. We arrived from France on the Eurostar and that station was a few minutes walk away. Well, we did quickly run out of the small bars of soap which were not replaced daily. The sink was also somewhat plugged up and drained slowly.

Well worth the money. locatio for Kings Cross excellent. Location for busses around London excellent. Very clean and quiet. Staff were the friendliest we have come across in London hotels. Breakfast was quick, plentiful and tasty. There is no lift so be careful when booking and there was no hairdrier in the room but it was no trouble to borrow one. We will stay there again.
