Room size very good for London, clean and functional, with flat screen TV and tea/coffee facilities in the room. Ensuite bathroom clean and fully equipped. Great & quiet location in Bloomsbury - close to St. Pancras (Eurostar), within walking distance of centre, big bus tour pick-up around the corner. Substantial Breakfast Great value!

Location Good Breakfasts Price was the most expensive of all B&Bs I stayed at in England and the accommodation was just basic. Outlook from bedroom was onto back of kitchen area. Steps within the building narrow and I fell down 4 steps to my room. Level of bedroom floor and bathroom ensuite was at least 6 inch difference. No soap rack in shower. No replacement soap when first one used. Interior of ensuite bathroom looking old and tired. No lounge for guests

Good friendly welcome, good room, very clean and well appointed. We had two doubles in the room. Quiet even though we were at the front. Good English breakfast. Able to leave our suitcases at the hotel after we had checked out. Need to bring your own toiletries. Would use the hotel again for future stays. Very good value for money. No toiletries in bathroom.

A basic hotel in a good location for St Pancreas Station. Cost was reasonable but only because the hotel in in London - anywhere else this would be over priced Stairs would be very difficult for anyone with a suitcase as the room was on the 4th floor with the top flight very narrow. Breakfast only available after 7.30am which is not helpful for anyone on an early train

Having to lug all my bags up to the top floor via the stairwell-no lifts or help provided. Reluctance of certain staff members to provide assistance. Delay with ordering breakfast one morning despite staff members noting several guests were seated and awaiting to order.

Quiet, Good Location, Good Value, Clean, Simple, Comfortable I was on the very top floor which was up a long narrow challenging stairway. But I didn't mind as I could use the exercise. Some may not have been able to make it to the top.

We had a really good breakfast there :-)! Our bed was pretty narrow for the two of us. Luckily there was a spare bed in the room, so we could both sleep well. The wall were guite thin, so you could hear people walking in the room above you. But we knew that in advance thanks to booking.com and we had earplugs, so it was ok.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived early and was able to leave my bags at the desk so I could go explore the city. When I returned that evening to check into my room the night desk clerk was friendly and made me feel really comfortable. I had to check out before the desk opened the next morning in order to catch my train and he made sure everything was in order for my early departure. I chose this hotel for the location, a five minute walk from the train station. It was in a good neighborhood and I felt safe as a solo traveller. The room was very small and the bathroom was even smaller.

The hotel is located in a quiet area but yet within easy walking distance to King's Cross /St Pancras stations. The hotel staff is polite and professional. The room was clean and conform to what what could expect for this type of hotel in central london. Unfortunately, we could hear the people above our room, espacially when they were walking and talking too loud... As it is a converted house, the floor is wood, and not very good to sound-proof... And the curtains in the room were not blocking lights at all.

Only the location I did not like the hotel at all: small and noisy and smelly room (beside the kitchen which started making noise at 7.30 every morning).

The location is very convenient to the center of London, with just a short walk to either the Piccadilly or Northern tube lines, but the neighborhood itself is very quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was a bit limited, although the service was fast. The breakfast room is too small to accommodate all guests at once. Also, the water pressure in the shower was quite low. Still, overall it was a good compromise between price/location and amenities.

Room was bright, recently refurbished and spacious for the price. Location is great for Bloomsbury, British Library, British Museum etc. Real coffee at breakfast would be nice, rather than very strong instant.

This hotel was in a brilliant position for walking around London. The streets around Bloomsbury are interesting and there are plenty of cafe's, restaurants and pubs without the huge prices of central London. The Hotel was clean and quiet. My room was in the attic, but it was clean and well decorated and overlooked the London rooftops. As a solo woman in my 50's,I felt safe here.

Location was great, very close to underground and train stations. Good service staff and breakfast. The room looked clean. Very small bathroom. Could hear a few noises (other guests and some kind of ventilation/pump noise?) but not too critical.

Lewis in reception was friendly. Location was good.waitress`s were quick and efficient but no friendly conversation My sons room was so small it was depressing, too many stairs no lift I asked for a room with a view it was at the back of hotel, I also asked for rooms near to eachother, my sons room was downstairs in other part of building we were upstairs.choice of breakfast limited same everyday. 3 boys upstairs were noisy talking loudly and we could hear every movement they made.

Good location, quiet. Wifi didn't work properly. According to staff there were too many people using the wifi, but whatever the time of the day it didn't work, or just for 5 minutes.

“The staff at Crestfield were absolutely friendly and helpful. The room was small as are all London hotels that are affordable, but I didn't mind it at all. The best part of staying at the Crestfield Hotel is the location. It is a block away from the King's Cross tube stop, which is in the heart of the city. Also, the Pancras International train station is there as well, making easy to grab a train to France/Belgium and the rest of Europe. Can't beat it!” Tony, Studio City |
