staff were very friendly and the accommodation was worth the money. We paid for bed and breakfast and the breakfast service was faultless. Very family friendly hotel. *****. The hotel is literally across the road from the beach which was an added bonus.
There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel to be honest.
Location of hotel. The option of indoor or outdoor pool. The size of the family room was excellent
The beds were very uncomfortable as you could feel individual springs that made noise every time you moved. The pool ran out of towels for the majority of our stay.
The facilities, sauna ,indoor pool and out door swimming pool, the staff very good with excellent service. The food was good with good service nice location just a step away from the beach .The car parking service very good.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Child friendly hotel. Great value for money.
Views of the sea and very close to the beach. Good to have tea and coffee in the room. Adequate breakfast. We were able to walk to the Bournemouth international centre which was approx 1 mile away. Similarly Boscombe was within walking distance. Nice to get a call from the receptionist to ask if everything was satisfactory. We made the decision not to complain at that point about the tired state of the room.
This hotel is very tired. The chairs in our room were very grubby. Our pillows were thin. Mattress was very soft. The bathroom had seen better days. We asked for an ice bucket for our room but they could only give us a beer glass full!
The food was very good and most if the staff were nice and friendly.
Insufficient staff, especially for breakfast. The staff don't treat all patrons on an equal basis.
The room (with a stunning view) The food The pool and leisure facilities The staff
Nothing, it was a lovely hotel.
We loved the location and the fantastic pool, both indoor and out. The children's menu was great value for money and very extensive. Our room and the view were both unbeatable, it was a fantastic short break and everything we had hoped for. The breakfast was an added bonus too!
I thought the soft drink prices very expensive and the restaurant staff, although very friendly, were very slow and seemed inexperienced. The internet was very slow.
We stayed with our two grandchildren in a family room which was ideal regarding space and situated on the top floor with great views, enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, would definitely stay here again.
Friendly to single mum teenage son and dog. Excellent location.
Bedroom a little dated pillows hard
Room was specious and all beds very comfortable. We had a BBQ by the pool, food was good and freshly prepared. I was touched by a member of staff who went around the pool with a plate of fresh fruit serving everyone.
Shower in our room was dated.
We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and stayed for 4 nights. The restaurant staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. You could see the sea from the restaurant which was great. The rooms were clean and large enough for our needs. The children were welcomed and loved their time at the hotel. A lovely holiday.
breakfast restaurant staff, gym staff and beautician, very friendly and always smiling jacuzzi indoor swimming pool
on arrival reception did not advise of booking restaurant for dinner, thus one hour waiting time hotel looks run down restaurant dinner staff not apologising for giving wrong starters stating they ran out of goat cheese for starter originally ordered!? dinner taking too much time to come on table (spent the rest of the stay ordering room service because of this!) room smelling of damp (room 103) mattress very uncomfortable and sinks in when lying down very poor wifi connection gym facilities very poor for a 4 star hotel very poor choice for children menu I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone!
all of it a very nice time carnt fault it and will go again
The hotel is only a short walk to the beach. The hotel employees all tried exceptional hard to make the stay enjoyable, answering any questions and provided a high quality level of service. The quality of food was above average for most hotels (as a business traveller I stay in hotels at least once a month) and the menu was changed daily. We used both the indoor and outdoor pool which were safe and clean. The hotel proved to be excellent value for money.
This hotel is attractive for young families and screaming children at meal times is somewhat off-putting. Maybe a separate room for children at meal times under a certain age?
Outdoor pool was great, nice and warm, staff had good customer service and the breakfast was nice.
On arrival the bed for our 6 yr old had not been put in our room, once put in it was a single blow up mattress which was disappointing especially when we walked past other guests rooms and saw proper sofa beds and fold down beds. We were woken in the middle of the night by the guests above us- the floor boards were awful and the noise was like they were coming through the ceiling! It went on for ages and woke up our son- in the morning part of the ceiling had fallen off and was on our bed. The indoor pool facilities looks very tired, in much need of decorating and a clean.
The decor facilities breakfast. Pools
Slow service at dinner admittedly probably last service but no excuses Lack of interest of waitress to service The breakfast staff were fine and bar staff fine overall the hotel was lovely and I would definitely stay again The food was good
The food was good but the chicken nuggets that my little girl had needed to be cook more. Everything els was great it's a nice place to take your family. Would go again nice staff.
No air conditioning Children's bed poor Pillows extremely bad Management need to provide maintenance team with glasses as decor needs attention . Fire alarm went off three times in two days (once at 01.00). Day reception team knew nothing of the nighttime incident - strikes me of serious health and safety management issue that I will be following up with them and Dorset fire safety team.
Room 116 was very bright, comfortable and a great balcony with a fantastic sea view. The outside pool is exceptionally good and well maintained.
Some of the foreign bar staff could do with a bit more training.
The room was nice. Enough space for the three of us. The pool was lovely. Good service. Nice decoration in the hotel. Enough parkingplace. Close to the beach.
This hotel has old style charm and modern conveniences. Our room had a breathtaking view of the sea, the beach and the White Cliffs of Dover. The gardens were lovely and the pool area very nice. The hotel is in a great location being within walking distance of the town centre and the boardwalk.
Overall the room was very nice and comfortable. However, it could have used a little facelift, ie. the bathroom ceiling paint was peeling and the carpeting was a little tired.
The location, the comfort.the balcony room and the swimming pool
Its a bit pricey but iut is very good although the lounge is a bit on the small size for a large hotel
Very soft bed, very noisy floor boards so not easy to sleep
The grandeur and comforts, but also the small things like a magazine in your room telling you about Bournemouth or the small sticks of complimentary rock. I loved the view of the sea from the windows. It was possible to get lost in daydreams sitting on the bed and looking out. Dawns and sunsets were particulary nice. A good family friendly hotel with patient, courteous and well trained staff.
The shower had no power and the health spa gym was a little small and dissapointing.
