Food and restauran service ( waiters and waiters), very friendly. Show you to your table straight away. Very good service on Monday morning when less busy. Room extremly hot, no nice views. Bedding had to top sheet. I got a headache on Sunday morning, when asking the receptionist if she could provide me with some paracetamol she told me to go to Tesco express! |

We thought the Hotel and the staff and service were of a very high standardand look forward to staying again. One niggle was I believe our room was a smokers room in the days of smoking and it still lingered in the room & I felt had we stayed longer it would have seeped into our clothing.Did not affect our stay at the Hotel. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is well positioned on the top of East Cliff making it convenient for both walking and the town. Bar service not very rapid at times and parts of the hotel are looking a little tired. |

I thought it was comfortable and tastefully decorated and overall a beautifully presented hotel. The service was good, if a little impersonal. The location was superb and the swimming pool was just great. Some of settees needed replacing, a little too squashy. The bathroom in our room needed some attention. I did not like the outlook of our room - I would have preferred a 'room with a view' because this is important to me. |

Much potential but fell some way short of expectations The bathroom was ill-equipped, and the shower attachment was cracked. The service was mixed - some good, some less acceptable. Breakfast ended promptly at 10.30 and staff were extremely unhelpful. The fire alarm went off twice during the night, and we had to argue strenuously with staff to arrange a single hour extra before check-out - staff insisted that it was not there fault that our sleep had been disturbed more than once. Overall it is unlikely we would visit again. |

Good swimming pool, friendly and efficient staff. Good location. Breakfast was good Gymnasium could do with more equipment. Room was OK, but the piece of sticking plaster holding the shower head in place, the tiny old portable TV in the large TV cabinet, and the stain on the material of the seat that ran along the foot of the bed were not what I would have expected of a hotel of this quality. Sky sports 2 was on the channel list, but instead of seeing the programmes ( which I wanted to) there was a message saying contact Sky. When I asked at reception I was told thay would re-boot the sky box but if that didn;t work they would contact Sky. |

Reception were really helpful, they arranged for us to check inearly so we could change for a wedding. Really friendly staff couldn't do enough for us. Always had a smile and a kind word. The shower in our room was a little tired and old. It leaked and was hard to turn on for pressure. But that really is minor compared to the whole experience. |

The hotel was situated right next to the beach and very close to the main shopping part of Bournemouth. It had a indoor and outdoor pool which looked very inviting and given more time I would have used. Out of the three rooms booked, mine was at least a third of the size of the others and also only had a very small double bed which made it uncomfortable to share. |

Absolutely nothing, we checked out about 3 hours after we'd arrived as the rooms were very out of date, bathrooms also were very old looking and shower didn't work, dirty shower curtain, cracked tiles, mildew stains etc. . . . It was very very dated and certainly not 4 star 'luxury' standard it was certainly over priced. Would reccommend the marriott to anyone going to bournemouth. This Carlton hotel reminded me of faulty towers - without the humourous staff. |

Helpful and welcoming staff, super swimming pools and very child friendly. could have done with more reception staff at checkout time - if they are going to mandate it, at least service that mandate. |

We enjoyed a nice bit of luxury, had a very spacious room, very nice and fairly quiet location, ideal for the beach and town centre, and enjoyed a hearty breakfast in a lovely dining room. |

the view was exceptional. the location was very good as well the lack of communication between the staff and maintenance as well as the the fact that we were kept waiting when there was no chance o the shower being fixed |

I liked the beach view and the staff were very pleasant and helpful, but it is an old run down hotel quite a shock to the system. I got food poisining on my trip off course no proof it came from the hotel but I was there 5 nights happened on 3rd day of my trip and I was only eating at the hotel. Management were very helpful and understanding and listened to my complaints. The health club sorry but cant call it this it is the most run down health club I have seen. It needs an injection of money today! |
