The Staff realy are great here. Very helpfull. I got a good room even though I booked on line late. Good location.
The garage in the car park could do with a serious refurbishment.
Food was very good. Beautiful views.
Wifi signal a little poor.
Restaurant . The lay out was very good
Everything looked as if it needed a good clean. The bar area, was thick with dust. The room was also not clean.. Fittings in the bathroom were going rusty.Rubber seal on the shower screen was hanging off.Furniture around the place was in poor condition.
We like the overall ambience of the Carlton .The food is always to our taste and the staff are always so friendly and obliging. We have not used the pools etc but look very pleasant.
Restaurant and bar staff were friendly. The standard of food was excellent. View of the beach from room was great
Had to ask 4 times for beds to be twin, reception staff not helpful or very friendly. Shabby in places and in need of some renovation, particularly bathroom. No wifi available other than in lobby
Situation, amenities and pools excellent
Dinner menu was a bit restrictive particularly for vegetarians Bathroom spacious but nowhere to put clothes ,small towel rail over radiator not large enough to take 4wet towels Need more towel rails and stool
Lovely hotel , great facilities , good size family room
Bar Personnel could be a lot more friendly & accommodating , smiles are always good ! Such a shame as restaurant and pianist very lovely & all hotel etc great , will definitely come again
Pool area outside good but inside full of kids playing ball games.
Black mastik and cracked tiles in bathrooms. Restaurant staff need training on how to deal with simple requests from guests
Location and friendly ,helpful staff. Pool and jacuzzi a welcome extra And free parking. Good food and service
Single bed against the wall meant the mattress was not turned around often and was sloping sideways . Unable to use my headphones - no jack for transmitter to plug into.
we loved the location ,on the eastcliff side of bournemouth easy to walk to park beach and shops yet far enough out of town to be away from late night noise.Staff very helpful and friendly, food good.We were at the hotel for the Bourne Air show the hotel has great postion this
Beauty rooms ,changing rooms in need of up grading very small for amount of people the hotel takes. Also lots of little black flies in outdoor pool.
restaurant and staff staff who cleaned the rooms
position, pool and car park
Not being given the room we had booked and no explaination given made to feel like paupers because we booked at a discounted rate, it was suggested that our room had been given to full paying customers
Staff were very helpfull ,especially the staff in the dinning area who look after us as we had a young child
Good location Large bedroom Parking
Dinners overall disappointing -presentation over content Soup dishes instead of dinner plates - everything therefore stacked making it difficult to cut and separate food. Layout of dining room forced waiters to be constantly passing tables- far from relaxing
Leisure facilities were very good. The breakfast was fantastic!
Our room was a good size but some refurbishment required. Furniture needed attention (handles falling off drawers) and a fresh lick of paint would be good!
Overal we did enjoyed Hotel, nice location good facilities.
We didn't like the spa facilities cleanses, also the room we sated is was dump and with infant we find that's was heavi air to breath.
Free parking Location Swimming pool Lots of good potential
State of hotel interior, needs some tlc, also looks dated and could do with some deep clean in places. The reception area does not give you the impression that this is suppose to be a 4 star hotel
Hotel location and pool amenities
Mattress uncomfortable and very old
We was with family and got very good room . Breakfeast nice. Holel beautiful and clean.
Very poor attitude of reception desk staff. Gave the clear impression that customer satisfaction was way down on their list of priorities!!
Position and food excellent. Room large but dark. No air-conditioning and, as on ground floor, windows could not be left open. Very tired - no better than a poor standard hotel room yet was 4 star rated!
Shower appalling as waste water very slow to drain away. Staff unable to cope on very busy week-end, unable to answer simple questions. Problems with reception: reservation for dinner not passed onto restaurant and newspapers not delivered
Management is poor. I had reason to ask for cancellation of my booking , but was told that I will be charged full price . Also management did not bother even to contact me after so many phone calls and attempts to speak with them. Nobody was able to take responsibility to answer and deal with my issue. Very disappointing.
heated outdoor pool restaurant
soft mattress poor shower in room
The pool areas and sauna.
The bar area was expensive and service was slow.
Great location, comfy bedroom, good food and lovely staff.
