The excellent Spa facilities. The accomodation was stunning. Beautiful surroundings and gardens. I highly recommend this hotel and we plan to return in the near future for a birthday treat. |

The benefit of being able to use the spa and the convienence of being minutes away from the town centre Not being able to wear jeans in the restaurant - or being able to eat at the bar or another restaurant which allows jeans to be worn within the hotel |

An all-round fantastic experience! Friendly, helpful staff, very high quality facilities, and all set in beautiful countyside surroundings. With Stratford-upon-Avon just down the road, this hotel has everything you could want for a short break. We will definitely be returning. |

Great building and excellent grounds. Weather helped but inside communal areas also very good. Our room was in the newer part of the hotel and although the room had charm it was very dated. The quality of the bathroom was very poor for this standard of hotel (melamine and chipboard). |

The hotel was worth staying at purely for the spa which was excellent. If you play glof too then it would probably be ideal The bedroom was in need of renovation. The staff were disorganised and the hotel generally a bit stuffy. |

The building itself is so gorgeous and the garden is very nice too. The food was fantastic, service excellent and the Spa is an absolute must have. We will definately recommend and go back to this place. We had a very good rate based on dbb and it was worth every penny. We had just a standard room and the bathroom was rather dated but clean and functional, good size and well equipped. The only complaint I had was the shower head that looked very dirty but having asked at reception this was sorted whilst we were having a beautiful dinner. Other than that it is difficult to find anything wrong or not to my liking only the carpet had a small stain. |

The log fires and general relaxing atmosphere Also in beautiful grounds The room we had was not very clean at all and we found black hairs in the sink area which was most unpleasant- it was reported and just a mere apology from reception. Also the rooms are very cold and so are the hall areas |

The setting is perfect with the location being perfect to explore the surrounding area. Having to pay £15 for a small dog to stay with us the night, is far too much considering they provided nothing for the animal not even a bowl! Just lucky I had bought her bed and travel bowls with us as we were heading south after our stay. |
