Stairs to climb darkness off room lighting was very poor noise from street even with the window closed didn't stay for breakfast was glad to leave couldn't think off walking back up the four flights of stairs again won't be back
Excellent price for hotel in center of city
Occasionally a bit noisy with late night revellers
Just about everything
Central location, clean, quiet, good showers.
Overpriced, tiny room, spartan facilities (no bin in bathroom, soap in shower but not basin, lamps with very faint bulbs 2 metres above the bed, no lamp at the table), extra charge for basic cooked breakfast, weak wifi. I've stayed in central London for the same price with better facilities.
Good wee spot for weekends shopping. clean rooms with basic facilities. Had a issue with noise on the first night, but was dealt with very well.
Wee bit dark outside, could do with more lighting.
Central for shopping etc
Very noisy at 3.00am when night club finish, everyone out on the street shouting.
Excellent location, friendly staff, great value for money.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean, and well kept. Bed was very comfy.
No lift - we were on the top floor, 69 steps to climb! Close to local clubs - heard them all leavng at 3am.
We only stayed for one night the location was really the key it was close to everything very central. The price was a little higher than what we have had elsewhere but fair. The staff were lovely and the hotel is very clean.
Ground floor rm excellent. Close 2 city centre. Staff vfriendly. G8 shower.
This a a fantastic base for city break. Central to all amenities. Staff are friendly and the front desk is manned 24 hrs a day
The bed was not comfortable. The handles were missing from lots of the drawers. The old fashioned boxy TV set took up most of the dressing table. The shower was filthy and covered in mildew. The tea and coffee was not replenished daily.
Beds very uncoftable
Outside noise appeared to be more muffled than previous. room 102 was comfortable and warm.
cooked breakfast £3 was not a large helping however there was a good selection of continental breakfast items to add to it.
Spacious room. Location. Competitive price. Excellent wi-fi coverage.
No lift and bedroom on third floor up steep winding staircase. Very dim bedroom lighting Restricted breakfast menu
friendly family run business, in a good location, at a great price!
Duvet too light, little cold in the night. Only given limited choices for cooked breakfast and finishing time too early at 9.30am on a Sat - should be up to 10.30am on a weekend!
Comfortable bed and powerful shower. Fast wifi.
Noisy night. Noise from corridors but mainly from nightclub right outside window. Don't arrive without ear plugs.
The location was central to all shopping & activities in Glasgow. Underground/trains & buses all within easy reach.
Stairs and lighting was not good.Reading lamp should be on the top side of the bed
Being near train stations and shops. A very enjoyable stay , I would be happy to go back with a down stair room
I didnt like that it had no lift climbing the stairs a couple of times a day was hard .
Location is ideal for the Merchant City area of Glasgow
Felt too hostel like and building work was going on from early hours on sunday morning.
This hotel was very central.
We were right at the top so had many stairs to climb.
Very central location for shopping and transport and excellent value for money. Reception and kitchen staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were small and basic but very clean and the bed was comfortable.
The internal stairs were a bit steep and windy although they added to the authenticity of the building. The breakfast room was in need of a face-lift.
Ideal for visiting sights, museums, shopping, etc. Close to rail stations and subway. Breakfast was good and room was comfortable,
Lighting in room was a little dark and hot water was not very hot.
size of the bed room reception area very pleasant
access to my room was via an outside staircase guests were very noisy outside late at night corridor to my room and exterior room door in a very poor state old furniture left lying outside poorly lit exterior
location perfect. room a decent size, clean, and with decent facilities
room incredibly noisy - bring earplugs. though breakfast supposedly starts at 7 nothing much was ready so better to go a bit later if possible
