Was able to go to room and relax for the evening without too much disruption. It is close to the city centre and visitors should expect some street noise. This is minimal. Staff are pleasant and helpful. When leaving in the morning they are chatty and appear interested in your day. This is a nice way for visitors to the city to appreciat the qualities of the Scots. I am a Scot and have used the hotel for overnight stays in the city on three occasions when the service, room and staff have all been of similar quality. I would not hesitate in using or recommending its facilities in the future.

The style of rooms was excellent. The staff were friendly. The location was great right in city centre. The room we were given was right opposite the enterance of a night club. People were knocking on the window all night and the noise didn't stop until 4:00am.

Staff were friendly. Good value for money. Very noisy because of the club opposite...but that's not the hotel's fault. Ear plugs would be a good idea!

Good value, good location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was not well maintained: curtains didn't work well, toilet didn't work properly, top missing off cold tap, heating not efficient.

We were in the city for one night and the hotel was good for the price as it also included breakfast. I would use it again for an overnight stay.

City centre location is perfect. I booked room because it was works christmas night out and didn't want to wait hrs for taxi home. Lovely clean rooms with enough facilities for me and some friends to get organised for our night out in town. The price was the best tho, especially with it's location, and includes breakfast. Although I did not partake, but i've heard it is very good. I wasn't overly pleased that not all rooms have a bath. But that's to do with the shape of the building I suppose. The stairs take a bit of manoevring as well, especially when carrying your luggage up and down, not to mention coming back after a night out.

Super friendly and really staff. Great location. Room was basic for the price and our room was really noisy at night as it's across the street from a night club.

The room and comon stairwell is in poor condition. The carpetted section of stair is ripped and loosly covered with tape making it a health and safety hazard. The bedroom and ensuite facilites are poor. The shower tiles and seals are covered with black mould and it leaks onto the floor and the washhand basin tap was broken.

Superb location for shopping and just about everything else in Glasgow. Being just off Argyle Street it was handy for everything. George Square had all the Christmas shananigans going on, so it was an easy stroll there and back. Staff were very helpful too. I was booked into a single room but, being very tall, was bumped upto a family room and was told to sleep in the double. No arguments there!

Location Reception staff member on arrival Sat 19.11. was rude and unfriendly. By contrast breakfast and room service staff were helpful and friendly. Room security was poor as was the external entrance to the annexe. Annexe room idenification was rather confusing. Our room was number 504 according to the key fob. After some discussion with reception staff, we eventually found our room on the first landing identified as room 4. Not a pleasant experience to walk past bins, old ironing boards and general waste. Stepping stones on deep loose gravel is not my idea of safe passage.

Staff pleasant and helpful. Cosy & comfortable room with clean en-suite shower. Handy for main train stations and shopping. Excellent breakfast included in the price! Overall, lovely, great value for money and I'll definately be back! Only negative for some might be noise as this hotel is right in the city centre near to bars and clubs, this wasn't a problem for me, but if you think it would stop you from sleeping I would recommend earplugs!
