Despite being city centre, I could only hear seagulls, no traffic. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. No need to go hungry! En suite bathroom - basic but fine.
Couldn't get TV to work but was too tired to want to watch it anyway!
I got a very spacious room. Very nice staff. Continental breakfast served was good.
No lifts as we were carrying big luggages.
Friendly welcome. Basic but comfortable and clean. Good shower.
Couldn't get TV to work.
Nice room with all facolities
I can not know the hand Towels and the towels wich you put on the floor when you step out from the shower, they are kept in the same place. Second the window is heavy to open and close.
Very central, a few seconds walk from argyll street. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Lots of noise during the night from nearby pubs and clubs. This didn't bother me at all but just as a side note for others.
The staff were exceptionally kind and made it easy to use the hotel as a perfect spot for exploring Glasgow. The chef was very friendly and the breakfast was tasty and filling. Very good value for money and looking forward to going back
Good breakfast, attentive chef, thick pile carpeting on stairway.
Woken at 2.30 am by shouting and swearing from street below for over an hour. Night club clientele ?
no lifts; no people to help! breakfast ... just enough!
Friendly helpful staff, rooms basic but clean and comfortable and good value for money, good location for bars, restaurants and shops being within merchant city
Room being on ground floor next to Wilson Street was particularly noisy so sleep difficult but given the location not surprising would request room on upper floors on a future stay other guests in our party in upper floor rooms didn't have as much trouble with noise
Not a smile not a please or thank you, unhappy looking as if they didn't want to help or do anything for customers.
Staff with no people skills

Noisy location at night
Overpriced. No elevator. The hotel is a joke. Please take of your list.
The hotel is based in the centre of Glasgow and was ideal for me since this was my first visit to the city. The staff were polite and friendly. I would definitely stay in the hotel again.
If like me you love a cup of tea in your room after a long day it is frustrating to find only one teabag but loads of sugar. I am sure a couple of extra bags wouldn't break the bank. The hotel is situated next to a bar/club and over the weekend it did get quite loud but next time I will bring ear plugs!
2 mins from everywhere i wanted to go wld stay again
Breakfast was included (continental). Tea and coffee facilities in room. Rooms were warm.
Windows were very high and was open slightly. Couldn't close the window which resulted in a lot of noise coming from the street.
My room was huge, booked a single room but got a twin. Room was clean as was the bedding. Bathroom was obviously new. Reception staff helpful. I was wary staying alone after reading reviews but I felt safe and hotel exceeded expectations. Would definitely return. Central location to all attractions and bus station as needed to be close as attended the killers concert at Bellahouston Park.
Room was cold but its August so guess didn't expect any heating. Some noise from local nightclub.
The only good thing about this hotel was the location - it was just off Argyll Street which is really handy for the city centre, but then again, so is the Premier Inn!
No toilet paper in the bathroom. No hot water came out of the shower. The pillows were rock hard and we couldn't get the window closed meaning we could hear the sea gulls screaching from the sun came up.
No lift Very basic Very noisy late at night
The room and bathroom were very decent. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Glasgow. Near nightlife and restaurants of Merchant City and near transport hubs.
The staff were very casual and didnt look like they cared. There was something a bit odd about the atmosphere. The room would not lock from the inside.
Location in Central Glasgow was excellent for all City Centre sites. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Facilities were clean and pleasant in a beautiful setting.
Opposite nightclub Tiny room Very basic Poor breakfat
The staff during the night was nice (in contrast to the one who was there during the day). He was a very funny guy!
The staff in the morning was not nice! We basically arrive around 11 AM and since our room wasn't ready, we asked if we can just leave our luggage so that we can go out and find food and return when the room is ready. He said NO, you cannot leave your stuff because of this and that.. Really a bit frustrating when you can't leave your luggage. Hotels SHOULD expect their visitors to leave their luggages before they check-in and when they check out!
It was very noisy at night, no lift for older peole
Hot water in bathroom.
Poor breakfast, telephone and lights did not work. Room in a horrible extension up 6 flights of steep stairs. Dangerous outside metal unlit staircase. People cleaning rooms threw sheets down the stairs, you had to negotiate this. Very dangerous. Room stank. Had to keep windows open. Money taken off card before we arrived. Staff courteous enough but obviously did not know their job. Was tempted to look for somewhere else. Disappointing. One channel on TV. Outside appearance dirty , debris lying about. Cannot understand why booking.com would recommend such a place. Cast a shadow over a weekend away. Faulty Towers.
