low price good location firendly staff nice furnishing

reception closes at 10.00 pm, so if you arrive late in the evening you have to hurry before they close. I was a bit late and they did wait for me, but still, a hotel reception should be open 24hours, I believe.

nothing there was nothing to like , from arriving to leaving, if l had not paid in advance we would have walked out but as pensioners we could not afford to, so if you want a nice visit to lovely Manchester just don't book in here.

the hotel entrance. Hallway, the position of the entrance down a dirty rubbish strewn alley way full of rubbish bins, the dirty walls , dirty room, no toilet paper, no towels ,no wardrobe ,no draws to put clothes in, dirty net curtain in the bathroom where the overlooking hotel guest could see straight in when we put the light on, no bedside lights, stained ceilings, peeling wallpaper, when we did get towels they were literally like sand paper they had been washed and used so many times, the noise at night from the alleyway was horrendous, l seriously wonder why the booking agents have this on their books , they should be ashamed of sending people to stay there, its not a hotel and lve seen much better hostels , l can honestly say it is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in and would hope the booking agents remove it from their available booking list , just a dirty filthy hotel. l just wonder if they dare show this revue??????????????/

its 20 seconds from Piccadilly gardens

It's down a back alley, the entire hotel smells of urine and smoke, the room had: a double bed, a sink, a dozen cigarette ends and a camping chair (and that's it), the hotel is generally filthy and in disrepair. the rooms window was broken and looked out at the home of several homeless people so at any given point you can usually bet on seeing someone urinating on the wall below The toilet (near reception) had wires hanging from the ceiling and again was filthy the showers were on a different floor at the other end of the hotel and again were filthy the cutlery provided for breakfast (cereal) was not even remotely clean I cannot reccomend

Friendliness of all the staff. Very Clean facilities especially in the Restaurant. My name. Miss Joanne L Kendall St Annes on the Sea. Lancashire Not Leisure trip - I went for neck operation.

The price for my stay was more than acceptable - I slept very well in a very comfortable bed in room 1. I did hear dustbin men clattering outside but I was not worried.

The location and breakfast was okay

smell of paint in room and nothing even looked like it was painted and the window would only open up 2 inches the tv remote would not work right and the door would not lock right and the place could do with a lot of redecorating. i could not sleep there was also a lot of noise outside at night

The staff were helpful, the breakfast was ok,

The location is a bonus and a curse. It's conveviently central but it can be very noisy from around 6am as delveries are made in Back Piccadilly and the buses and trucks on Oldham Road shake the room.

The staff did their best to make your stay good. The price was great. Location, perfect. I got there early and my first appearance was of concern. The staff tried to make me comfortable, I was attended to, until room was ready, thankful.

The first appearance, much to be desired, many might have left, a lot of repairs going on, I understood, many would not. Stale odor, later improved. Has a lot of potential. I would return.

only good thing was clean bedding and towels

everything else was diabolical - even the fire doors opened inwards and there was a damaged step on the fire exit stairs

Cheap accommodation that included breakfast too! The man was so friendly and made sure we had what we wanted for breakfast! He was very accommodating!

The room was really warm the night we stayed and couldn't open the window as it lead out to the fire exit so we were scared to open it incase someone could get in side.

Proximity to the center, walking distance to gay area and all public transportation

The reception closes at 10pm so make sure you don't get surprised! I was. It all worked out and the staff (Naveed) was helpful but meant I lost a night and had to book a different location further away.

Dead central location. Quiet. Hot water. Not too expensive. Extremely kind and helpful receptionist (to me anyway). Thank you Mohammed. Tolerable if on a tight budget, I suppose.

Grotty place. Filthy, threadbare carpet, hole in window-pane. Poor facilities. One teabag, one coffee (although both good quality), one pillow. Communal loo. No staff at all 10.00pm-8.00am, door closed. Should be even cheaper.
