Room comfortable and well appointed. Staff pleasant and courteous. Bar prices too high. Resent paying extra to park when staying at a hotel. |

A wonderful breakfast that kept us going until the evening. It was handy for the airport as well as visiting many National Trust properties in the area. Disappointed with the evening meal. It was rather pricey for what it was. They had an unusual flavour of Apple and Pear Crumble - Garlic. However the matter was sorted out in a decent manner. |

It was relatively easy to find and the check in and out was slick. I was disappointed to be charged £10 for eight hours of car parking overnight. I understand charging for travellers who leave their car for time when they are not resident but think the facility should be free for residents. |

The hotel was convenient to the airport. Not luxury, but not expensive either. There's still a great deal of refurbishment to go. The lobby and some common areas were pretty shabby. The fact that they charge for parking even when you're checking in and leaving again to get rid of the car is pretty mean. |

Spacious and confortable rooms and hotel set in calm green area with plenty of parking. I believe it used to be a `Rennaisaance` hotel.Friendly staff. Very good value for money at 50 pounds/night for two, including good breakfast. Would go again. Hotel good but bus transfer from Gatwick airport to hotel was complicated.Issue of insufficient signboard information at airport indicating bus number to take.IMPORTANT To always inform people to take the bus:G3, or phone hotel. Otherwise very good/frequent g3 bus service, operating every15/25 minutes, depending day or night, over 24/24 hrs, at only 3 pounds/person/trip. |

The breakfast was very good, and the hotel staff very helpful during our short stay. There was nothing wrong with the hotel, but our booking with booking.com did not appear on the hotels's system which lead to some confusion when we were checking in. |

Good location, nice rooms, good value for money paid. One of the receptionists was very rude. Bathrooms in some rooms need redecoration. |

Very helpful staff in all areas. Good soundproof rooms - no noise of traffic, planes etc. Withing easy reach of Gatwick Airport. Cheap and regular bus service to Gatwick. Meals excellent. No smoking room and corridor. Was not able to get a film on the TV [pay film] Perhaps I should have phoned reception, but the tv just said not available several minutes after switching on. |

I used this hotel as a stopover at the start and end of my holiday. I was travelling alone and found the price of room and convenience for airport excellent, it was really easy finding the bus when leaving the terminal building as it has Mercure Hotel written all over it, also the bus goes to both north and south terminals. |
