Hotel was in ideal location It was relaxed , We were made welcome Breakfast was excellent
First time to Blackpool, we were going to see Riverdance, and I was warned about the crowds etc, so this is a nice 20 minute walk to the winter garden or by tram, clean , friendly nice breakfast. Thank you
My partner and I actually never attended our stay due to a family emergency. However, the hotel staff really are among the most polite and attentive we've experienced! The day prior to our intended arrival date we received a call to ask about arrival times etc to ensure everything would have been ready. When we rang with the news that we were not able to stay, despite it being very last minute news the matter was handled sympathetically and professionally and were appologetic for our circumstances, they also urged a future booking. Our friends still attended their booking and were very happy with their stay (hence the basis for the above multiple choice review)
No negative comments. All in all a very decent family run facility!
steve & Chris are both lovely & very welcoming. We were delayed in arriving & they put there plans on hold for us. Love it's out of town away from the noise yet it's close enough to public transport, to be within the town in minutes. Can't wait to go back in Feb. Thanks Steve & Chris.
we always book en suite, the room we had the bathroom was so small the hand basin was in the bedroom. Not really a big deal. Still going to back to the merecliffe in the future.
I loved how great the owners were and how down to earth and friendly. They had the most amazing dog just sat there which gave it a fantastic home feeling. It was lovely and warm (very rare in Blackpool to find a warm B&B) The place was spotless.
location quiet breakfast huge really peaceful place to sleep after the hustle of the town my daughter loved it. Chris Steve and Oliver where brilliant.
Nothing not to like
Lovely staff lovely quiete location and good value for money
the breakfast was lovely and the owners very friendly
the guests were having a completion I think as to who could slam the doors the loudest. the bed was a tad uncomfortable in the fact that you could feel the springs .
Everything, even before we got there a courtesy call to see what time we were arriving then when we arrived met by Steve & Chris who were both lovely and couldn't do enough for you, great night sleep and the best breakfast I've had in Blackpool by far again nothing was to much trouble I only wish I could put a photo up of the gorgeous breakfast which I took as it was so nice, we'll definitely b back for 2nds
Nothing to dislike
Extremely friendly and helpful staff
The two blokes very down to earth and friendly we stopped over night after a football game had a bit too much to drink the Saturday night celebrating Sheffield Uniteds point at Preston so gutted I missed breakfast due to a very bad hang over. I would deffo stay here again
Friendly and welcoming staff, rooms were cosy and had everything you needed.
Good friendly service
Parking facilitys waz abit restricted
The area was very quiet so got a goods night sleep, the breakfast was brilliant and the couple running the place were smashing - very welcoming and happy to help.
Everything was fab, Chris and Steve were very welcoming, and very accommodating apart from no Marmite!!! lol Very comfortable nights sleep, breakfast was outstanding. Even cleaned my daughters shoes for the wedding! Thanks a lot, Cordelia, Psyona, Nicola and Tim xx
Chris & Steve are very friendly. Chris especially had me in hysterics. Although it's a little bit further out, it's very accessible to bus/tram stop. Value for money is great!! Have stayed three times & want to book again for illuminations. Thank you
Chris and Steve catered for our every need. They are excellent hosts and even let us choose our room for our next stay. I loved the small Stella glass and Chris gave me 2. Breakfast was tasty even after a skin full the night before. Will definitely be staying again in September for our anniversary.
Very good location close enough to main attractions without been near all the noise, made to feel very welcome clean and great value for money will be staying again.
Couldnt even call the bathroom a bathroom, a poky slippy shower, only place to put things in there was on the loo plus it was shared by the entire 9 rooms in the hotel...went home feeling grubby rather than have another shower in the morning
The couple who ran the hotel were lovely ,( and there pet dog oliver ) very friendly and welcoming :-)
The rooms were a little on the small side but didnt ruin our stay at all
Only good staff nothing
It wasn't had left and Internet . Other things ,it is small room. Least, it is old furniture
Room are congested, but with well maintained facility. Breakfast time experience was refreshing & cheerful due to warm & decent approach of staff.
Shower & toilet are too congested.
Great friendly hotel
Limited time for breakfast only 8am to 9am (even on a Sunday morning )
Everything, First class Quiet area, friendly owners.
No bedroom stool or chair
The owners are wonderful! Really friendly and welcoming! Its a shame every hotel isnt like this, as we couldnt have wished for nicer people welcoming us! The rooms have everything you need and was really cosy. We slept really well after our nights out on the town, and anything we needed we were provided on request. The beach is a stones throw away as is a tram stop for travel further up! I thoroughly recommend this hotel and if and when we return to Blackpool we would definitely stay here again! 10/10 Thanks guys! :)
