Location and restaurant next door.
The two single beds were different heights.
The room I was given was like a suite - huge with a spacious shower unit, separate WC room. Also, a large TV and sofa etc. Great location.
I has asked for twin beds for my friend and I who were spending the weekend in London, but we were given a room with one TINY double bed to share .... And it was on the top of the hotel, 4 flights with no elevator... By the time we got up there we were too exhausted to go back down, then up again to the receptionist, etc so we just stayed put. But it was very disagreeable. We chose this hotel for the twin beds!!
very good location in city center, few steps from underground station
very small bathroom
good location just off Oxford Street, very covenient. The room was clean and wide enough to open our suit cases. The room even had a bath tub! Good value
if you have a heavy suitcase, I wouldn't recommensd this hotel. Nobody helped us carry our stuff to the top floor. We had tough time carrying up and bringing them down.
very small reception area had to que on the steps
No wi-fi was included, no fridge. No elevator.
this is best Place to stay in London! Near station, near shops
Only the location
We got a tiny bed ,broken and the stuf said ther is nothing to do until tomorrow. We had to go up 100 stairs to the room with suitcase. There wasnt hot water at the shower, and a lot of noise from the street.
Location was good the desk clerk was very helpful breakfast wasn't awful but it wasn't great either.
no hand towel in the bathroom bed light didn't work over one of the beds noise was incredibly loud - from other visitors and the street traffic nothing to stir our coffee/tea with not a good place to sleep that's for sure
Friendly helpful staff. Nice restaurant good food. Good breakfast. Great location.clean tidy and comfortable. Good value would recommend for a short stay in London. Would stay here again.
Too many stairs no help with luggage.no fresh milk in the room.
Location was amazing Breakfast was perfect
Too many stairs Street was very noisy, ask for a room no on street level
everyhting .. starting with the location , the value of money , the comfort , friendly staff , clean
Good location, clean & comfortable, good food in restaurant
Our shower wasn't working properly, after notifying the staff, someone came and looked at it and made it work temporarily on the provision that we cannot regulate the temperature of water.
No safe storage for travellers with languages,no elevator, poor mattress
Location. Clean and tidy
stairs are steep
I loved the location & breakfast lounge.
It was hard to go upper levels without lift , particularly when you're carring baggages.
Location is very good.
Old, multiple buildings, narrow stairways
Location Size of room
Rooms were hot and stuffy, had to leave windows open due to heat in the room however due to the good location it meant lots of noise outside! Bin men came round at 5am and you can hear everything! Thought room was overpriced, you pay for location. Breakfast stops at 9:30, they don't tell you that so get up early!
Location - very central and near to where our staff were attending a training course. Restaurant downstairs was very good.
Was very noisy on the night our staff stayed. Sounded as though the staff were arguing with some guests. All of our staff were affected by this and did not get a good nights sleep.
Everything was great , the staff is friendly , the room was big for me and the family , the location is perfect
If you are looking for simple affordable accommodations off oxford street, this is a great pick. A small clean room with a tiny wardrobe and desk (we had the double twin room) on the 3rd floor (no lifts). The location was extremely quiet, considering it's a block off of oxford street.
The continental breakfast was toast, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea available from 7-8:30 am, but, considering the price that's reasonable. We found we usually skipped it either because of time, or wanting fruit, eggs, or sausage.
No elevator and small stairs, not free wi-fi.
The Location is amazing and they have a nice pizza below.
No elevator - 3ed floor No air-condition Very small room No so clean The breakfast is at the pizza - no selection you get what they give you - that's it. No "bottles" - shampoo, conditioner etc in the bath. All the doors are very heavy and fire - automatically closing The street is the corridor...
Fantastic location - just off Oxford Street. Good value for London. Clean comfortable room.
Stayed in separate house opposite. Room very warm, so had to open windows, but constant loud whirring noise outside all night - maybe from big air-conditioning unit or fan? Also other guests noisy - came back in early hours - not much sleep at all!
