This hotel is in perfect location. It doesn't have an elevator-could be essential with heavy bags |

Excellent location, and the street was not too noisy. Small room, but not smaller than in a lot more expensive hotels in London. The bathroom and the shower was ok. |

Location was excellent. The restuarant below was also very good for dinner if one is too tired in the evening. asked to Stay on the first floor as we knew that the hotel has no lift. Became too noisy at around 4am. Sound of glass bottles being thrown in garbage dump. Need of mattress change as it was way too hard. |

Suberb location at a reasonable price. Simple, uncomplicated accommodation with everything needed. No fussy staff, no noise. Breakfast was rather spare. As it was based mainly around bread, it would have been nice to have 'real' bread instead of sliced yuk. |

I have been to London for four times. But this was my best hotel regarding to location and rate. The restaurant is also good and convenient as it is close to the hotel. My next visit to London will be at Mermaid Suite Hotel for sure. Hope that I will find availability and the Price will be just as good as this time. The only thing I missed was a lift. Thank you. |

Excellent location for shopping. Bond street metrostation is just around the corner. Floors are very loud, you can hear people moving above you. Breakfast was just cereal, toast and coffee. Bit chilly room during winter. Rooms are located in 3 different buildings. No fridge in room. Firedoors between room and bathroom. |

The location is good for shopping and sightseeing in the metropolitan area. The room was warm. The room was quite small and there was no lounge in the hotel. Breakfast could be better and available earlier in the morning. |

I stayed at the hotel for a second time. The first time was perfect however this time we received a room that was next to the reception. If they ever try to give you this room (no15) do not accept you will have to listen to all conversations coming from the reception desk at any time of the night. The location of the room next to the reception. The night-shift receptionist did not spare us the friendly chat with a guy coming back to the hotel at 4 am. It was really not cool to be awaken at that time of the night. |

We requested at booking time a room at first floor due to mobility restrictions of a member in the party (no lift is available) We were also charged 4% for paying by credit card (not known at time of booking) |

It is very central so there's no need to take the tube. It did not have a lift and we had to take the luggage up 4 floors all by ourselves. |

I best liked its location, 5 minutes from the bond street station, which is right in the middle of london, 10-15 minutes from oxford circuit on foot poor sound isulation, you could hear the neighbour from above and bad tv (but it wasn't very important as i wasn't there to watch tv but it had only four channels and with very bad reception) |

Good location for shopping next door to Oxford Street, New Bond Street etc. Its classical London tiny non chain hotel but ist well kept. Breakfast in nearby restaurant is okay. Some rooms are cross the street and since there is no sign make sure you have your map printed from home to find the place. |

this hotel has a few blocks. We had booked 3 rooms thru booking.com and stating that we had 6 children along. But when we reached there, the hotel manager, stationing at the small reception counter, put us at 2 different blocks. The worst thing was one of them was at the six level and there wasn't any lift! The hotel manager told us we should had told them that we want to be in the same block when doing booking but who the hell would know that they have more then one block of hotel rooms under this hotel??? |

Icannot think of a better position! It's fantastic the hotel is just 20 metres far from New Bond street and Oxford street! Breakfast is simple and the girls are really very friendly. Unfortunately no lift! This is a problem but considering that you go to London to visit the town..... and I would change the mattress it was really unconfortable, plus I would add a couple of towels and a bath carpet since they do not provide it, anyway I would reallly use this hotel again, please change the mattress!!! |

With excellent location it provides easy access to main shopping areas while city main historical sights and parks are still within walking distance. Staff was friendly and supportive. Narrow stairs are difficult to use but obviously no way to change this. However staff should think about towels, I wouldn't call them exactly "fresh". |

the hotel is very ideally located and was clean and comfortable. the floorboards creak a lot and i was very disturbed by people walking about on the floor above. it felt like they were going to come through the ceiling any moment. |
