The location was excellent as our trip was centered around attending a concert in a near-by venue. The hotel was also walking distance to the main shopping area in Leeds. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lighting in our room wasn't the best, some of the lights didn't work and it made the room quite dark.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but had everything we needed. The heating was just right and the room was very clean. Overall it was excellent value for money. The wi-fi didn't work which caused my daughter a problem and as the hotel is right in the middle of town it was a bit noisy - just what you'd expect really!

At first from the outside the hotel looked a bit old and run down but dont judge a book by its cover, as you get inside you seem to realise yes although it is not a new building or a new hotel it has a warm and homely feel to it. The staff are very welcoming and upon arrival I got a free upgrade, I had a lounge area and seperate bedroom with televisions in each room (was a bonus I didnt have to watch the soaps with the missus). All in all was a nice weekend break right in the city centre, 3mins away from coach station and a nice hotel, would stay again. Only thing that was missing was a mini fridge or mini bar in the room I was staying in

GOod location for a night out. The room was very warm, and no music channel on the tv, this is important when getting ready for a night out!

The location of the hotel was very good. It was close to the city centre. All the restaurants were in the vicinty. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the train station. I did not like the Wi-Fi service as it was not user-friendly. There was direct connection &was via a third party. The staff were not able to sort out the connection problems.

It was dirty. There were dried faeces on the outside of the toilet. The cover on the radiator covering the wires was cracked. The 2nd room we booked was worse. My parents stayed in this room and it was awful. The springs were sticking through the matress and the matress was badly stained. Their carpet was ripped. The bed obviously used to be the type where it folds back into a cupboard up against the wall. The panels next to it had holes cut out so you had to put your hand through to reach the light. They had to sleep on top of the duvet, turn the heating up and sleep with the towels covering them. We asked to speak to the manager but he wasn't there so we complained to the head of housekeeping. We were assured the manager would contact us or my parents but nobody has bothered to phone. I have no idea where you got the photos of the room on your website from but it certainly wasn't either of our rooms.

“Perfect location if arriving by train as it is directly opposite the station. It is central to the city, amongst all the shops and night life but very quiet in the rooms and I had one facing a busy road. Clean rooms and the one I had was a very good size. Was able to leave luggage securely on my last day whilst I went shopping.” Jeanne, Wigan |
