Meryan House HotelBishops Hull Rd, Bishops Hull, TA1 5EG Taunton (Show map) Very good, Score from 34 reviews“Room with a beautiful view, decorated in a charming and "Very English" stile - a nice contrast to most of the Hotels with "minimised" Interior. The owners and staff were very polite and welcoming. They made us want to return. The food and service was excellent, both dinner and breakfast were superb. Room was very clean and very comfortably decorated. We have no hesitation in recommending it to others and we will return.

I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, the attention to detail, and oldfashioned standards bought bang up to date. The Garden is very special, with far reaching views and heavenly sunsets, and even rainbows seem more colourful. The staff are all helpfull, whilst discreat and not overbearing.

Hospitality of owners including 'open house'. Dogs were delightful. The location is excellent for touring around Somerset including North Devon Given we average 6 ft, the beds were a little on the small side

The rooms were clean, The owner was helpful.plenty of parking space. Good breakfast. Firstly I would have to say that the sign into the hotel! is very difficult to see, due party to vegetation, partly to a faded sign, and partly to the angle of the sign, access into the parking area was OK but not good.I found the hotel itself quite dated and cluttered, The room we were in was very ' Stuffy ' due to the low ceiling and the fact we could not open the window.
