The bed was quite comfortable There was no toilet or shower facilities in the room . There was a comunal toilet/shower on each floor but it was like a portaloo and ended up revolting at the end of the night. There was a sink in the room that was not clean either. Also there was a 10am checkout time although we barricaded ourselves in there until 11am! |

It was a dirty hotel, ideal for a young couple who want to go away for a dirty weekend!!! noisy, uncomfortable lack of amenities for e.g. hot water, uncomfortable bed, no toilet or shower in the room |

The outgoing atmosphere. I cant say Iiked the toilets at all. I knew they were going to be basic but self washing toilets is below basic. There was quite often wet toilet paper lying on floor etc and I dont think this is hygeinic in anyway. An ordinary toilet would be actually cleaner! |

It was by far the cheapest room within traveling distance of the Airport. Some of the staff were very helpfull and polite. I was offered another room when the door failed to open with the pass code. The receptionist had a of family members or friends hanging around in the reception area on booking in on Friday. They did not give the impression of being valued members of the community. |

Newcastle was a nice city to visit but this was the first and last time we will use Metro inns. The computer system that controls the doors to the rooms was down all day so we had to be let in by staff each time. The general appearance of the hotel was scruffy. We were expecting similar facilities to Travellodges which we use alot and are the same sort of cost but Metro inns are nowhere near the same standard. |

Nothing!!! It was extremely dirty, the staff were miserable and unhelpful. We had to pay £50 deposit per room which was not stated at the point of reservation which I believe is extremely unfair. I would not put a homeless person up in that hotel. It was a total misdescription. |

Computers were down at hotel so they had no record of our booking. Staff were not very helpful & seemed very in experienced. Basic facilities to say the least, didn't realise Formule 1 had just been renamed! |

Ease of booking in and accomodating staff The fact we were not issued with a key and if we locked ourselves out we needed to ask to be let back in |

This hotel is the most disgusting place I have stayed at. It should be closed for hygiene reasons alone. Our room had stains on the carpet everywhere and it hadn't been vacuumed properly. The toilets are a communal type and were situated in the corridor as were the shower rooms. Both were dirty and were not kept very clean. A fight broke out at 2am between other guests in our corridor...AVOID! |

Only stayed 1 night and the staff allowed us to come back late to the hotel as we were visiting family. The hotel smelt quite badly of sewers/showers. The toilet cubicles were along the corridor and although clean were very small. I am not a small person so found this very off putting. |
