The room was clean and the parking is safe. If you have continental breakfast is not that bad.

The water had to be run for 15-20 minutes for it to get cold. The sink area was extremely unclean with marks all over the ceiling and hairs in the sink. The drains in the sink did not even work as when you ran the tap it all just flowed out underneath! The duvet cover was covered in dust, and to make it worse when we arrived to our room a condom wrapper was found in the bed, I found this utterly disgraceful. I cannot enforce how much I do not recommend this hotel, it is in the middle of an industrial state, so a lot of money Is needed to get around. I was very dissapointed with my stay here.

It's very basic but very affordable. Exceptional value if you can share a room with one or two others. The live-in manager runs it very efficiently.

We arrived and spent about a minute to decide to leave.I Telephoned a taxi to take us to a car hire company and hired a car a day early to take us to a proper hotel on our route to Norwich. On entry to the rest over lodge we found it like an eastern block prison.firstly it was situated in an industrial estate, the paintwork left a lot to be desired, two of the fire escape door glasses were cracked, the door of our room was moving when locked, not a place for a retired couple to rest easily for the night. In all it was a waste of £38 which I probably won't see again.not a place for booking.com to advertise.

Low cost, easy to use and you know what you are getting. The hotel has a dirty / musty smell about the place that get on your clothes. The worst areas seem to be the corridors.

It was less than 2 miles away from where I was working The hotel is used as a halfway hour for ex-convicts, who have just left prison and haven't yet been allocated a hostel to stay at. The hotel is also used by the DSS for housing homeless people, who spend their time begging for cigarettes and money outside reception. The hotel is in need of a major facelift with much of the exterior of the building in need of renovation.

The hotel is used as a place to house prison leavers. It has definite security issues and just feels run down.

The room wasn't as clean as would have hoped. Bedding clean & ok. Showers not as cleans as would have expected. Big eye opener of a lot of young men walking around in thier boxer shorts ect. But for a quick over night stop over it was ok. See above

The room was warm, clean and comfortable. It contained the basic facilities and was cheap. Restover Lodge was more basic than I imagined. However, the manager has resored our confidence through compensation after we complained about various items. We laugh about the experience now but I don't think that we will repeat it.

Beds were comfortable and rooms were freshly decorated. Seems that local labour companies use this accomodation for their workers. Toilets and showers were poor. Only one strip light in each room and so was a bit harsh. All common areas smelled of cigarette smoke.

Nothing. It was vile. The bedroom stank of fags, there was a boot print on the pillow case and something that looked like a big bogey in the bed [didn't look too close!]. The toilets were filthy, full of wee with pooh deposits and toilet paper all over the floor. I couldn't use them and drove to the motorway service station in the morning. Don't go there!
