Location os good
Run-down, dirty and very noisy
Price Cleanliness friendly staff
The lifts weren't working so had to go up 3 flights of stairs.
It was okay for the money we paid although the area surrounding the hotel is poor its very central to the shops and bars etc. The staff were very attentive and accommodating.
The immediate. Location and no parking at hotel.
Location, worst hotel ever stayed in. Lovely staff though especially Danielle a credit to the hotel
for the money room ok, breakfast inclued was fair
road outside a bit noisey but you wil get that in city centre location
Central location and price, which included a decent light breakfast
Tired - old - in need of major up-date
The whole thing cracks in the windows carpets were all fraying only one plug socket fire alarms goin off and no staff to explain why. Lots if banging other guests running about shouting out if windows. Me and my partner came home a day early as I just didn't feel safe in the place
A Great central location for our girly weekend away. Shopping in the day. All within reasonable walking distance of hotel. Pubs just round the corner so an easy stumble home after a night out. Hotel has posh entrance and is a bit run down but in the process of being done up. Rooms on the second floor were spacious and very clean. And for the price we paid were happy with everything. This is our second stay in this hotel since May and we can see improvement. Breakfast is ok. Again, you get what you pay for. Toast, cereals and a cuppa. That'll do nicely :-) Would stay again xx
Hallways a bit dated but I think it's maybe next on the list of things to be renovated :)
Were it was situated
Room was dirty, like going to a 60's room , cold , walls had marks on them and the bathroom had more fungi than a market stall
When we were in our room, another customer came into our room with key card, so much to securety. I ordered in advance gluten free breakfast , when i made the booking nothing was provided for me even though there was supermarket 5mins walk from Hotel they couldnt be bothered to provide an Gluten free alternative cereal or bread . So people with CEOLICS DISEASE ARE NOT WELCOME
Reception staff were extremely helpful & pleasant.
For a double room, the T.V. was very small.
breakfast was nice
room needed a re-vamp and the bar was unwelcoming
Liked the location, near the centre of town. Free parking (though not many spaces available so get in early). Free breakfast.
Scruffy and some dodgy looking clients.
Extremely cheap hotel to stay at and the price included a small selection of breakfast items. The staff were friendly. The location was good. The bar was nice. 24hr reception.
The room was disgusting, moldy ceiling in the bathroom, holes in 3 walls, wallpaper falling off, bins half full, bulbs blown, plug sockets hanging off, television from the 80's, draws wouldn't open, lots more but the gist is even for an extremly cheap hotel you expect a certain standard. This didn't meet any standard at all. 2/10 would not recommend.
Helpful staff, rooms nice and big flat screen tv - for the money paid I was pleased
No black out curtains
Room clean, bed freshly made, TV old but working as was TV remote surprisingly. I was on the 4th floor so busy traffic in the street below not overly noisy. Bar, comfortable and good prices for drinks.
Shower, hard to control, and very low flow, I had to set to full heat to get warm water. 1 lift out of order all week so a bit longer wait for lifts at busy periods but no great hardship. As usual fight for parking but NCP next door was always available.
Parking and not being give want was asked.for.
The girl who checked us in was extremely helpful and friendly
The guy in the bar was extremely rude
Room, breakfast, staff and price of course
Staff were very friendly and location was good and excellent value
Arrived late and felt unsafe walking from car park to hotel. Room was shabby, pillow was hard, only one lift worked and the breakfast was very basic. There was some kind of club nearby and the music did not stop until beyond midnight
This is not a posh hotel with all the frills, but a basic hotel with a price to match. The room, including the en-suite, was clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was an easy walk into Derby, and there were many excellent restaurants within a very short walk.
The decor was a bit tatty in places, but they were beginning the process of redecorating.
Breakfast included in price. Surprised and very pleased with the choice available. Excellent.
I stayed 2 nights in a single room it was quiet and clean and close to many facilities.
Having to walk up quiet streets nr night clubs after dark a little worrying.
Staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was yummy and well presented. Will defiantly be coming back!
