Tv to small.
Free buffet breakfast with good variety although coffee was awful (sorry). Bedding was clean and free wifi although we didn't use it.
Very, Very run down. Desperately in need of repair, restoration and TLC. Ceiling paper hanging down in the bathroom, bathroom door couldn't shut or open come to that. Location poor too. Large windows overlooking a large boarded up area.
Very noisy revellers leaving and going to rooms at 3.00am! Reception nice and modern, but looked old fashioned afterwards.
Uncomfortable bed. Tea was cold at 7.30am breakfast. Reception staff were miserable.
Location and friendless of staff .
Could hear patrons in room next door clearly.
Not being in there, however Danielle has been exceptionally helpful following my subsequent complaint.
Dirty, but predominantly a flickering light in my room caused me to have a seizure as I have epilepsy and no one was available to change the bulb.
Not a lot to like, sorry
Tired, budget hotel still in the 70's. Black mould in bathroom, wallpaper coming off the walls, stains to walls. Carpets in corridors filthy. Broken windows on stairwell and in room. Dirty net curtains. Food poor quality
Comfy and in a central location
Check out at 10am. Would happily pay a little extra for a later check out
Dirty rooms with mould around bath and windows. 3 broken windows. Thick dust under the bed. Unpleasant smell of smoke over entire floor. Photos were taken to prove the filthy conditions. How can a hotel stay in business offering this level of service! Rooms were disgusting!
Free wifi and location of hotel are the ONLY good thing about this hotel
Everything was bad this box is not large enough for what I have to say. JUST AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS HOTEL
Very small shower cubicle.
Receptionist Danielle was very helpful when we wanted to change our room. The continental breakfasts were excellent and the whole package was great value for money.
There was so much wrong with our room we had to change to another. I had to remind them to replace a much promised bedside light bulb. The outside area was very shabby and gave an unwelcoming impression.
The venue and the room was priced right and adequate
Not enough cutlery crockery or staff to top things up for breakfast. One person was trying to do everything. Let the hotel experience down!
Friendly staff. Helpful. Room good value for money. Broadband speed better than most hotels stayed inover the last few years.
Windows neess attention. Shower a little bit on the small size.
the convenience of hotel being in the centre of the city
the room tv didn't work properly beds where hard and rickety other than that ok
Attentive staff at both front desk & breakfast hall. Beds comfy.
Non-hotel patrons in foyer/lift area. Refurbishment seems to be a bit slow in decor & furniture.
Not too badly located
Shabby hotel with grubby fixtures and fittings. The bed was tired and sloped off to one corner. Breakfast was a farce.
Room was fine. Location ok
No staff to do breakfast. The person doing it had absolutely no idea. Waited 20 mins for a spoon asked 3 times. Coffee was awful. No glasses or cups. No cutlery had to use t spoon handle to butter toast. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and the second time breakfast has been a fiasco. Shame.
Location, and the friendly staff
the room was old and dirty. the hairdyer and facilities were yellow and disgusting i didnt touch anything. the curtains and blinds had holes in, the bed had stains and wasn't comfortable or warm. the wall had rips in and holes were thing were before. the kettle was dirty and mouldy inside and we didnt use it because of how dirty it was. there was a wedding going off and we could still hear music till 2am going off in the hotel. the staff were un polite and young.
Very comfy bed in very quiet room (even on a Friday night!) at an excellent price = so, overall, value for money.
Phone didn't work. TV didn't work.
The room I was in had a microwave, which was useful. The hotel is quite close to town.
The bedroom just seemed dirty. The bathroom was mouldy. The room was cold (although they did give me an extra heater when I asked for it). Paper-thin walls. Noisy street too. Wouldn't stay again.
The location and the staffs
The old doors and old carpets in the corridor
Location and value for money. Friendly staff.
Cheap clean bed for the night near city centre
Bed was very uncomfortable
