Great value for money with comfortable and clean rooms. We ate in the pub which was delicious. Breakfast was basic with only one glass of juice allowed, however the cooked breakfast which was ordered was very good

The room was on an exceedingly busy noisy corner of a road with double glazing which must have been fitted to reduce the noise. It was a hot day and a small room and needed some fresh air. Someone brought us a fan after we enquired about moving to a room at the back of the building, which was a help, but we needed it on all night. The menu for meals was difficult to understand, no explanation of what Mezze meant, it seemed to be a type of continental food. Continental breakfast was served in a different way to any we have experienced before.

Food and accommodation: Excellent value for money. Very decent double room en suite and one of the best hotel breakfasts ever, all for £65. The Meze in the restaurant was first class as was the wine and service. Sited on a very noisy road junction.

The hotel bar area was nondescript. This was once a village pub but (understandably for commercial reasons) is no longer. No locals would pay those beer prices!

Different from the usual pub/hotel. What you got for your money was outstanding. Food was a real joy.

Old building on a busy road junction. However, would cost them millions to rectify these problems then they would have to charge twice as much.

Location was convenient for Bristol airport.

The welcome we received was not so friendly. The lady who served us at breakfast, however, was very hospitable.

    Food in restaurant, friendly staff.

Rooms were disgusting, condom wrapper on floor from previous guests from god knows when. Teddy bear on bed, Why? Rooms are old fashioned. If you are looking for a hotel near Bristol airport this is not the one for you. It cost 20GBP single trip to get there from airport.

Rooms are lovely, food is good, garden, location, drinks all good

Often have trouble finding staff to check in and get drinks at bar - focus is on the restaurant

The young lady who served breakfast.

We arrived mid/late afternoon for a pre booked three night stay. We waited in an empty somewhat dingy bar, without seeing a soul. Eventually the manager arrived and we told him we had a booking. He replied 'Do you want to pay now?' We paid and were taken to our rooms. We passed a pair of doors with three shell mirrors for decoration (should have been four, but a day later there were two and one hanging precariously.) We mounted a dirty stair carpet, on a very narrow staircase between grubby walls. At the top we were confronted by a profusion of doors and irregular steps. Turning down a corridor with an overpowering smell of room freshener we arrived at the first room strangely titled Boma). The door opened at the top of three steps of different heights. Down we went, the room was very dark and small, this was not helped by the 'boutique' fittings, a black wall faced us, a 4'6'' bed jutted out covered in a silver and black quilt, there were two large green and beige cushions and a huge, grubby teddy bear (just what was needed in a tiny room) The curtains were also silver and black and covered a sash window, which would open but not stay open, its paint was dirty and peeling. However I was very grateful that we were on the first floor as the narrowness of the corridors and profusion of doors did not seem too safe to me and I felt I could exit in an emergency via the four foot drop from the window. The ceiling was covered with unidentified black and brown blobs and peeling paint. The furniture was some 'exotic' wood which looked like badly applied black treacle. The television crackled loudly and was otherwise inaudible. The floral decoration was a tin watering can with dusty leaves and a pair of artificial flowers. The wooden headboard rested 4 inches onto the bed reducing the length by the same amount, the wood was badly scratched. The pillows seem to have been paving stones in a former life.

Located in the center of Congresbury. It has a nice restaurant in the building always appeared busy. Bedroom was well stocked with radio, tv, iron and board, proper tea and coffee facilities. Bathroom was nice and clean and we'll laid out.

WiFi was hit and miss. Mostly the later. Phone signal was pretty poor in the area also. Hot water was also hit and miss but waiting 5 mins usually it sorted itself out. I was on the front of the building and even with secondary glazing traffic noise was noticeable.

Good choice of Ciders and Lagers. Evening meals and Breakfasts were delicious. Good commute into Bristol for a 10ma meeting. No traffic.

Staff not the quickest at serving. No hot water for the morning shower. Pillows were like blocks of concrete. Staff in the morning were not about in order to check-out. Had to go and search for them and all were huddled in the kitchen nattering away.

The location for us was great and the food amazing. There was a really nice friendly atmosphere and our son really enjoyed playing in the garden. The room was spacious, modern and very clean.

There was little hot water in the morning so the shower was only luke warm.

Large room and good bathroom . Lots of parking available.

Lack of fruit, decent cereals/toast, pastries etc for breakfast. Looking a bit jaded - in need of decoration. Awkward stairs (when carrying suitcases). Situated on main road junction with lots of traffic. Inexperienced staff with no local knowledge
