Nice place nice staff very obliging, good location for travellers like me who needed food because they arrived late as Tesco just next door so was able to get some food to eat.
The friendly and helpful staff. Very close to shops for any late night snacks! Great location, very short taxi journey to the station.
no wifi in my room
I was quite happy with this hotel. It does exactly as it says on the tin !!
excellent breakfast. clean and tidy with a bed which you just cant help but fall asleep in. very helpful staff.
some of the décor needs updating.
Hotel is family for 50 years & looks it.
They do not print boarding pass - first time to happen.
The location is great breakfast was good but well overpriced
Signage is not good the rooms are tired and beginning to look shabby We had extra guests for breakfast 2 adults and 2 children and we were charged an additional £32.00
You could here the traffic outside although it didn't keep me awake.
Location was good, with onsite parking and friendly staff who provided a good breakfast
Room was looking a little tired with a "lumpy" Bed. Shower was almost a trickle - Sadly one night was enough
Good and pleasant helpful staff. Wifi very good. Rump steak was good.
Room cramped, no desk space, insufficient convenient sockets to charge modern day essentials. Shower abysmal, no pressure. Limited menu.
Room was spacious and well maintained.
Breakfast service was slow, no one to seat people or serve. I had to go and find someone.
the food was good
The friendly welcome from a 'nothing is too much trouble' staff. The dining area was as would one hope for in a very pleasant area of the hotel.
The shower: it was too high for me, I am 5'6", so I was unable to adjust the head. The staff did look into it but I still could not use it; the bath was used instead.
Access was good and the welcome genuine
tight car park lack of atmosphere
Bed was comfortable. Room was nice.
Situated on a busy roundabout so continuous traffic noise.
the convenience of location the staff were attentive and helpfull good parking facilities all needs were met, even if a little tired in decor. booking on line without prepayment
tiredness of decore
Location, facilities, comfort
Food was a bit ordinary, but not bad
The staff were attentive the hotel was clean rooms were basic but for an overnight stop quite adaquate .Breakfast offered a good choice and a full English was very filling and tasty.
The hotel is in need of a refit stuck in the 1980s
The fact I was only there one night
Parking, location, helpful staff and easy.
Mattress in my room was a little firm for my preference.
breakfast free wifi helpful staff the bathroom was reasonably clean
room was not clean there was an opened box of condoms in the bedside drawer so the room had not been cleaned thoroughly there was a smell in the room the decor in the room was old and worn carpet was stained in the room the staircase and corridor was dirty and had not been hoovered the bed was uncomfortable with a mattress cover which was made of a material which allowed the sheet to slide over it, very basic level of comfort
Room 14 - no way of telling which way to turn the shower for hot or cold.
Excellent food at a good price
Some confusion over payment
