the bar and resteraunt staff were friendly and efficient andt the convieience to town and the A130/A12. the original room we were allocated had a distinct smell of damp and when my partner explained the problem to reception staff they seemed insulted that he would even suggest it. we were however transferred to another room but were charged £110 a night instead of the £64 which was the cost of the original room. unfotunatley we will not opt to stay at the miami for any further visits to chelmsford which is a pity as we will be travelling over at least every 3 months for the next two years or so. |

Convenient location for the cricket ground and town centre. Great breakfast! The bathroom was a little tatty and the shower pressure was very low |

Only good point was the full breakfast which was included in the room price. The Miami Hotel, more like motel our room was in an outside block which looked like an old people's home. Even though the room was clean the decor was very dated straight from the 1980's. The standard room price is 90-£100 we got nearly discount as we booked through booking.com but I think if I had to pay full price I would have been very un happy. If your old enough to remember Cross roads from the tv thats this place but without Benny! |

Excellent breakfast. Very efficient air conditioning in rooms. Very friendly staff on front desk and in dining room. Very thin walls! We could hear all the night time activity in the next room! No obvious sign of a lift to the first floor. |

I was very impressed with the hotel and enjoyed my stay what made it better for me was the fact that my business meeting the following morning was only a fifteen minute walk from the Hotel and they had no problem with me leaving the car in there car park even thought i had already booked out. I will definatelly stay again. |

I'm afraid that there is absolutely nothing I can think of that i liked oe enjoyed about my stay. The room was cramped and the walls paper thin. we could hear every thing that was going on in the next room. and i mean everthing until 0500hrs in the morning. |

Room clean and comfortable, breakfast excellent. Booking instructions for ground floor room were just ignored. However ground floor room was provided after I stated I was not happy with second floor room and the prospect of getting eldery relative up two flights of stairs. The very reason I had requested a ground floor room of course. |
