Room was spacious and comfortable
Friendly. Good size room. Excellent breakfast. Parking good. Very friendly staff. Being recognised on our return visit
Shower was a slight disappointment.
Everything. I planned a party for 25 with 20 stopping over. Sam was brilliant in helping me organise the party. All other staff were brilliant in their particular roles. The meal was great, the room we used for the meal was just right. All my guests also had a positive response to everything.
Size of room and bed. Bar area and pleasant receptionist.
quality of towels, only one bath towel in room on second day, didn't discover until too late.
Comfortable. Good food. Decent gym.
Wifi was disgraceful for the price of the hotel.
Great location and nice hotel. Clean and tidy
All was good at the hotel but the internet connection wasn't very good and kept dropping out..A little annoying.. However, I will be staying there again
The pool facilities are very good.
Cost of the food and drink.
Nice clean room with good facilities
Showers were poor
The warm welcome at reception and I had room service as I arrived at the hotel late, the food and service was excellent. 1st time at the hotel will be staying again when in the area on business.
I cant really comment on this as I arrived to the hotel late and didn't get chance to view / use all the facilities
Bit old fashioned
Pool was a good size with surrounding facilities, room was comfortable and quiet and hotel was within walking 'distance of an excellent pub 'Nags Head'. We had a snack in the hotel too which was good value for money. When staying in the area we will definately use the Mickleover again.
Bar was crowded, there was another one on the first floor which was closed : (
It was good for visitor attractions as all The places we visited were within a fairly short distance. We had an excellent room, very spacious and comfortable with a nice view from the balcony. Our two night stay was excellent value for money and we would come again. The safe on site parking was a great benefit.
We found nothing to dislike.
We have visited many times and consider it to be an excellent hotel cannot fault it
the food is still not up to the standard of the hotel, was not happy with the presentation which was presented on wooden boards instead of plates and had to pay extra for vegetables which were expensive
Near to Derby Lovely pool lots on site parking take dogs
Dirty Bathroom Road Noise breakfast (good variety but, out under hotplate to long )
We stayed one night as it was a short visit but found the staff very helpful, parking was easy and the room was great. The bed was super kingsize and very comfortable! Bathroom was fine, and clean. Didn't eat at the hotel but peeked at the menu which looked good and varied. We would definitely stay there again.
Location and food and good breakfast service
Cold room and smelly bathroom. Indifferent desk staff.
Have used this hotel several times with no complaints
There must be a more convenient way of keeping the connecting doors open rather than propping them open with armchairs
Spacious, clean room, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, friendly, helpful staff.
Cramped, dated bathroom and only one tiny bottle of body wash and shampoo between two people. No conditioner, body lotion or shower cap. Too much chlorine in the swimming pool, the fumes stung my eyes.
Pool and spa facilities Lovely friendly housekeeping staff
Bed linen and pillows poor quality Room allocation inconvenience Family split into 1 modern family room and 1 twin room in older part of the hotel. No interconnecting or room next door option.
The room was nice and clean and very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant.
The service at the evening meal was very slow. On the morning of departure we were disturbed twice by housekeeping prior to 9.30 when checkout was not until 11.
Good size room with comfortable bed. Really friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.
Smell of chlorine from swimming pool on entering hotel. Slight traffic noise from road, but I'm a very light sleeper, so it wouldn't bother most people.
We loved the pool, steam and sauna. Our large bed was amazing. Great value for money.
Wi-fi was poor in our room.
