Pat & Adrian are a very friendly couple who genuinely care about their customers. We were originally booked into room 2 on the second floor, when they saw that my wife had difficulty climbing the stairs, they immediately offered us the ground floor room without even being asked, even though that room needed to have it's final clean & check. Within a short time the ground floor room was ready for us to move into. I would highly recommend the Mickleton to anyone.

Staff were very nice & friendly.Breakfast was very good.Would use the mickelton again.

poor state of some of the decor.i.e.some paper hanging off wall.specks of what appeared to be black mould on the steel window frame

breakfast a little sparce could have been another rasher of bacon and maybe lincolnshire sausage instead of prepac

The owners were very welcoming and very helpful, and made you feel at home. Food was very good, and very well presented. we enjoyed the position of the guesthouse as it was a little walk to the town centre [not too far] and 5 minutes to the sea.

Pat, Adrian and Huggy were very warm, friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable, cosy and well appointed. Also had convenient parking on site.

There was nothing to dislike.

I liked the location

There is a few things that I found most displeasing about this b&b * at first our room looked clean but after looking around i found that there was a lot of mold in the shower * after our second morning there i was most displeased about being pulled aside by the owners and being told off about not making our own bed (both my partner and i felt like we were at school being told of ) * we stayed for seven nights and not once were the towels in the room replenished and once we had asked for more towels are answer was that we should of bought our own * as we sat each morning for breakfast we watched the owners being very friendly with the elder guests it made me feel very awkward *also felt very uncomfortable after being asked why the sheets had slipped off the corner of the bed and the male owner then suggested that we had been wrestling in it at night VERY INAPPROPRIATE * also very large dog that lives on the property barks every time someone walks past at night * we also picked up on the owners whispering to the other guests about us I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BNB TO ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF THIRTY

the hotel was in good location to beach and amusements

although we stayed for three nights there were no clean towels available to use after first night and the cups in the room were too small.

it was very clean and food was good also a nice couple who run it.

room was quite nice lovely breakfast

did not see much of the owners- they were never around did not introduce themselves not overly friendly until we left then had a proper conversation with them blamed for things we didnt do just because we were younger than everyone else staying there

Made to feel very comfortable, owners very friendly, and accommodating food was good, they also made a fuss at dinner time when they found out it was my birthday Would stay there again

Very clean and comfortable, located at the quiet end of Skegness but only a 10 minute stroll to the pier. Breakfast was good and very efficiently organised. For what we paid I doubt we could have found better in Skegness. The dog was very friendly and never barked while we were there, we were asked if it was ok before the dog was allowed to enter the room with us.

Checking the room while we waited and before returning our key deposit was a little offensive to my partner. Although I can sympathise with the reason for this perhaps the owners might want to consider reviewing this policy

Mickleton was very clean and tidy we enjoyed our stay there a lot excellent services and facilities however would have liked our towels to have been freshened daily would recommend for family and friends excellent place to stay

Lovely small friendly guest house.. real value for money..located right near the beach, and just a short stroll from the centre.. perfect..

I cannot put into words how welcoming our hosts were at this guesthouse. My husband and I had gone away for a weekend to try and occupy our minds whilst our daughter was away on a school trip and Pat and Adrian made us so very welcome instantlyand we left feeling like we've known them for a long time. The room was lovely, exceptionally clean and the breakfast was outstanding. It was only minutes to walk to town and pat and Adrian gave us good advice on places to go etc when we were going out, their knowledge of the area was endless. I cannot thank you enough both of you for our first romantic stay without the children, you definitely helped to ease the worry about our daughter being away. We highly recommend this lovely couple and their welcoming guesthouse to all and would love to go back some time please xxx

VERY friendly service throughout our stay, and it was nice and quiet at night. would reccommend to anyone.
