Friendly atmosphere, excellent breakfast, clean well appointed room with plenty of tea coffee and milk available. Super welcome from Salli & George - felt more like friends than proprietors. Could only stay 3 nights due to work committments.

Wonderful rural setting in a genuine country house. Plenty of space in the room and around the house. Host Salli was wonderful with nothing too much trouble but without being over fussing. Nice choice at breakfast. No bath in bathroom. Room could have done with a paint as cracks starting to show. Otherwise a delight.

Salli and George were excellent hosts. Incredibly welcoming, human and accommodating. My 6yo loved playing in the garden, collecting eggs from the hens and exploring. Will definitely visit again.

We loved the homely, friendly atmosphere. The people made us very welcome when we turned up tired and damp after an exhausting Trade Fair. We loved the quirkiness of the accommodation, which exceptional attention to detail - padded coathangers, hot water bottle, extra heater or fan in the wardrobe, and an impressive breakfast. Lovely country quiet surroundings - a very happy place.

Very kind, friendly helpful staff. Super breakfast, great value. Everything you could need provided in room. Worth knowing that the postcode on a sat nav will not get you there - took me a little while to find it!

Sally and George are lovely, friendly and helpful people who really want you to be happy and comfortable during your stay with them. The hotel is situated in beautiful countryside and we enjoyed our short time at the hotel. The bed was very comfortable! At it is a very old building, I did find the room in need of some repair and the carpet felt dirty.

George and Salli were very welcoming hosts. Room comfortable with tea, biscuits etc. Breakfast substantial. Perfect location as we were attending a sports event close by. Yes, we would happily recommend Middleton Grange. It would be sensible to mention that you have dogs. Whilst I love dogs I do, sadly, have an allergy to them.
