Sally was away but we were made to feel very welcome by George, even though we were just a one night stopover en route to Cornwall. The house is old and has many interesting features, with lovely grounds. Room comfortable with a good breakfast which we selected the night before.
Our host George (like George Harrison from the Beatles or George Clooney the actor) was flying solo when we arrived as his wife was on holiday. However he did her proud with his wonderful hospitality and stories of Droitwich and beautifully cooked breakfast. He was a star.
Rooms have adequate facilities and are clean and comfortable. Massive breakfast and friendly service.
Nothing at the price, but the rooms could to with some remedial decorating, which would enable the owners to charge a little more.
Friendly welcome, lovely countryside and views, first class breakfast.
A bit difficult to find.
Very friendly and clean.
Give yourself enough time to find it! Satnav does not help!
Very quiet rural, location. Delightful & friendly owners. Excellent breakfast using local produce.
We found everything at Middleton Grange was superb, from the friendliness of the owners the food the cleanliness and the location. We would certainly stay again and would recommend it to anyone
Very friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for George and Salli. Wonderful breakfasts which kept us going until evening! We shall certainly come again.
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and were also great conversationalists about all topics such as travels, sport and politics. They had a lot of local knowledge and were able to assist us with our planning. They made us feel feel very comfortable.
Small showers but were manageable with plenty of hot water.
Very friendly lovely location nothing was too much trouble
if you stay once, you know you come again. we stayed short, but ist must been much longer. we felt like home. thank you so much, george and salli !!! detlef and birgit, from kiel in germany.
Friendly hosts. Lovely situation and delightful house. Excellent breakfast - eggs fresh from owners' hens!
Booking.com didn't forward the booking so owners weren't expecting us.
Laid back and very friendly staff Great location excellent breakfast excellent complimentary tea, coffee and 'nibbles' in the room
Stunning location, a very warm welcome from the friendly landlords top notch service would re visit and recommend
Salli and George. Warm, welcoming, humorous hosts who go the extra mile to help and advise. Excellent breakfasts with congenial conversation. Historic wonky windows and rambling house. Lovely! Also a friendly and quiet collie dog. Pastoral location and a lovely walk close by along the newly reopened canal.
Nothing not to like!
The lady was just great - couldn't do enough for me - I will stay again in the future - value for money and a smile too!
Not the most modern shower but did the job :)
Everything1 Salli and George are wonderfully accommodating and generous. They immediately made me feel very much at home. George is a font of information about the village and nearby Droitwich. Salli is a great cook and a very kind lady. Their home is beautiful, my room well appointed, and the surrounding area absolutely delightful, a perfect pastoral antidote to five days in London. :) I treasured my time there and would LOVE to return.
This is no fault of the hosts, but please note that a Hertz rental car employee told me I would easily find it by entering the post code into my sat nav. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!! If a guest is unfamiliar with Salwarpe, he or she should get directions from Salli or George by phone or email. (I stopped at a village house and asked, after the sat nav led me to a muddy field at least a mile away from Middleton Grange.)
freedom to come and go dog friendly. excellent breakfasts.
steep stairs. narrow beds small room
Very comfortable, warm spacious bedroom with en-suite, beautiful old farmhouse, easy to get to from M5, warm-hearted and fiendly hosts, excellent breakfast.
It had a nice feel about it
Finding it on a dark night was not easy. The postcode seems to be wrong
george and salli are lovely people and they made us so welcome .
Had a fabulous stay, George and Salli were extremely hospitable and made me (and my dog) feel very welcome indeed. It was an absolute pleasure and I shall be going back!
My only complaint is that I wasn't able to stay longer.
Friendly hosts that will "go the extra mile" to help make your stay enjoyable. Great breakfast.
