It was spotless and clean, very homely and welcoming. The owners are lovely, friendly sincere people who went the extra mile to ensure our break was enjoyable. A very pleasurable, comfortable and pleasant stay which I would highly recommend to my family and friends.

Our stay at the Middleton was just what we needed in the way of comfort and cleaniness. The owners where very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly recommend for value and comfort. Only problem was on street parking which was ok if you don't need to move car but we did and discovered parking spaces were like gold dust.

The sudden hospitalisation of a dear in~law living in Bispham at the end of March of this year found my wife and myself needing to find a reasonable and conveniently located hotel in the Blackpool area for a week~end stay. Arranging a suitable hotel in an unfamiliar destination especially in such hurried circumstances can be a bit daunting and as we travelled up from south Wales we could only hope that our booked accommodation at the Middleton would be ok. How we needn't have worried. The Middleton is a little gem! It may be a little small but is very clean, very comfortable and very welcoming. Must mention the English breakfasts which are freshly cooked, tasty and huge(-nice touches on the dining tables too such as the fresh flower spray and the cutlery stands). We also found plenty of room to park either on same road or on adjacent road. We'd have no hesitation in recommending The Middleton and like its illustrious namesake, Kate, it has also got style and class.

the owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. the hotel was very clean. the bedroom was clean and comfortable and there was coffee and tea making facilities.there was a good choice at breakfast and we ordered a three course evening meal which we thoroughly enjoyed.it is only a short walk to the sea front and the bus stop into the centre, but it is within walking distance about 20 mins. we can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Jan and Terry were very friendly and welcoming, the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was to die for. We only stayed one night and none of the above describes our reason for staying. We would be very happy to stay there again and would have no problem recommending this hotel. Once again we must express the friendliness of Jan and Terry.

The Middleton is a very clean and well run Bed and Breakfast. Terry and Jan is a very personable couple that take pride in the service they provide and are only too willing to be of assistance as and when required. The family room accommodation was very clean and comfortable and set out well to make the best use of the space whilst providing relative privacy. As a family consisting of an adult child, teenager and two parents we did not feel squashed or packed in. Add to this to the very reasonable price of our stay and I must say I cannot speak highly enough of the Middleton, Terry and Jan.

I review hotels and the service industry for a living, however, the hosts at the Middelton weren't to know that. This is hotel review no. 6 in 8 days. The Middleton is rated as a 3 star, and certainly comes in at the top end of that rating. It's immaculate, the rooms are large, as are the beds which are very comfortable with nice fresh linen, rooms have excellent wifi, There's a good array of in-room tees and coffees, (I asked for Earl Grey, and although they didn't have it when I arrived, incredibly, they'd popped out and bought some before before I sat down to breakfast the next day, now that's service). The breakfasts are exceptionally good, offering free range produce cooked to perfection from a menu you control. Upon arrival, I expected it to be just another average B&B but it is far from that. I have not stayed in better within this price range, nor, come to think of it, at double the price. It's not contemporary, it's homely, warm and friendly with exceptional hosts. It sets the standard. Book it! It's a gem in a sea of stones. A great addition to Booking.coms varied list. Being in the quieter part of Blackpool, some may feel it's location is a disadvantage. I preferred it, it's a short tram ride to all of the hub bub of Blackpool Central but you're guaranteed a good nights sleep in a nice area with the advantage of secure and plentiful on-street parking upon your return.

The hospitality at the hotel is second to non. It is a true home from home. This is our second visit to the Hotel and will always return if we have to stay in the area. The breakfasts are just the ticket to start you up for the day and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely hosts and a true gem

Jan and Terry were lovely hosts - made us all feel very welcome and were extremely helpful. We also loved the location - just one minute from the beach, within easy reach of the town centre but far enough away to be lovely and peaceful. The breakfasts were great!

The family room had plenty of space and seperate areas for the children and us, and was really clean and nice. The owners were really lovely and the breakfast was magnificent. We had a great time. The only thing to bear in mind is that it is well past north pier which is fine if you don't mind walking like us, or getting tram (if you can get on it) but for anyone with mobility problems it might be a bit far.

We stayed at the Middleton Hotel as we went to see the illuminations. We were very impressed with it and would choose this hotel again. It was friendly and very clean. It's only a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram stop. So it was located perfect for us. No noise at night, so we had a good nights sleep. All in all a very pleasant stay.
