The Middleton is a small hotel with a big welcome and this 3-star property is owned and run by Jan and Terry. The hotel is on the North Shore of Blackpool, just a short tram ride from the center of the town. Entirely non-smoking, the hotel offers attractive, recently refurbished and redecorated accommodations in a peaceful, pleasant location, close to all that Blackpool has to offer. All of the rooms have a private bathroom with shower and are fully equipped.
Under the personal and caring supervision of its proprietors, this spacious Edwardian townhouse offers a very high standard of food, cleanliness, decor and service.

The hotel has a great location just behind Queen’s Promenade, in the pleasant North Shore area of Blackpool. Queen’s Promenade runs along Blackpool’s seafront and the hotel is just off the promenade, only 2 minutes’ walk from the beach, the tram stops, Glynn Gardens and the boating pool. Blackpool’s vibrant town center is within walking distance.
The Middleton Hotel is great as a pleasant, comfortable base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and guests can enjoy great day trips to the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Chester, the Peak District and Snowdonia. A local coach company offers regular transport to these and many of the region’s other attractions.
The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from Blackpool (Europe's most popular holiday resort). This seaside town has numerous great attractions, including the Sea Life Center, the Sandcastle, the Pleasure Beach, Stanley Park, 3 piers, the annual Illuminations, and many theaters and cinemas.
By Car (from the M55 motorway):
- From the M55 motorway, follow the signs for North Shore.
- Holmfield Road is behind the Cliffs Hotel and Uncle Tom’s Cabin, which are on Queen’s Promenade.
