Very little. The architecture of the building was wonderful however. Almost everything. Poor service and untrained staff. And some rude staff. Very little professionalism or friendliness from staff. The food was of very average quality (prices were okay). Carpet in room was torn and bedroom furniture very poor quality. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Overall an incredibly poor and disappointing stay. |

Freindly staff, Nice clean room. Good food. Would have been nicer if more custs in restaurant. We were the only diners on the night. But food and service were really good. |

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was excellent - very big, beautifully decorated, the bathroom was excellent and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast included in the price was very good but the service at breakfast wasn't as friendly as it could have been. |

Very pleased indeed with the atmosphere, decor. Our rooms were excellent. You met my friend's needs in providing a good quality room with a separate shower. The hotel is interesting and very comfortable. The meal in the dining room was good. It was pleasing to be given a complimentary glass of wine. We were promised robes, slippers, ironing board, iron, hairdryer. Neither room had robes or slippers so we had to ask for them quite late at night. They were brought to us. Our room for 2 people was provided with only one robe and we did not have a hairdryer in the room. You do need to ensure these are available if they are advertised in your description. |

Staff were helpful. Cleanliness (filthy brown stain on blanket). Elevator out of order. No wireless internet in room. Window did not close. As a woman travelling alone, I did not feel very safe in farthest corner on top floor, with broken chain on door. |

Reception staff friendly, free glass of wine on arrival. This hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. Broken marble tiles in entrance lobby and reception, gaudy green and red patterned carpet throughout, Christmas lights up staircase (in March), rooms soulless and tired, bathroom 1980's Blackpool B&B standard, chipped paintwork throughout, painted up sash windows that don't close properly. In short - the worst hotel I have ever stayed in Bradford. |

Very average First Five minutes poor - agreed £85 booking attempt to up lift to £100 -- nice to be offered a glass of white wine but could it be cold and taste decent --- unable to offer a real breakfast before 7am -- grab and go was a good description! Rooms look musty and uncared for |

Once I had negotiated the maze of one way streets, I found the hotel a pleasing mix of old fashioned style and modern facilities. |

The period/history of the hotel itself, and the friendliness/professionalism of the staff Unfortunatley our breakfast order was lost so we had a long wait for our food, and were consequently behind schedule for our morning committments. The staff were however professional and apologetic. |
