York Minster, the Jorvik Viking Center and the famous Shambles are a short walk or 5-minute bus journey away. Rooms at Midway House are bright and individually decorated, and all offer private bathrooms, except one, which has a shared bathroom. Every room has a flat-screen TV and free tea and coffee making facilities. Midway House has a large and sunny dining room, and a residents’ lounge, which has comfortable seating and a TV.
