Nita was very accommodating. She was very friendly and helpful. The place was very well kept and the breakfast was great. Loved the countryside setting and The Fox and Hound pub next door does a great meal. We would love to return again in the not too distant future.

Friendly, efficient and helpful staff, pub next door for good meals (even though expensive), good for 1 night, definitely not for a holiday rooms/bathroom small, narrow, steep staircase to the rooms, if you can't book a back room you'll have to put up with a noisy main road, depending on your level of sensitivity the double glazed windows do not help

We really enjoyed our stay at Midway Place. The accommodations were modern and clean. Nita was a perfect hostess. She was very friendly and helpful, giving us great suggestions for finding pubs to eat dinner. The pub right next door was cozy, convenient, and had excellent food. Nita prepared us a delicious English breakfast to get us started on our day. Midway Place is a little bit of a drive outside of Bath but it gave us the English countryside we were looking for. Bradford-on-Avon is a little town close by. It looked like it had a lot of cute shops and restaurants. We did not have time to spend there but we definitely would if we return. Nita also gave us great directions to Stonehenge, which was about 40 minutes away, as we made our way to London. Midway Place is a great place to stay! There was quite a bit of traffic going to and leaving Bath. That took a little extra time but it would not deter us from staying at Midway Place again.

We were made so welcome. Excellent facilities. Bonus having such a good food pub next door. Within easy reach of Bath but not at Bath hotel prices. Everywhere was beautifully clean. Excellent breakfast and not rushed. More than happy to stay with Nita again. Any local info readily shared. Didn't find any fault.

Our hostess Nita was amazing. She made our stay as enjoyable as it was. We were unable to get accommodation in Bath due to the Christmas Markets, Midaway Place was our next best option. We had a hire car so location for us was not a problem. We were a short drive from the nearest train station which got us into Bath (as recommended by Nita). The pub next door served very large delicious meals. A home-cooked full English breakfast was an added bonus. We thought the Midway Place was a gorgeous alternative when central Bath accommodation was not available.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. She is open to making recommendations about the area. The owner has done an amazing job updating the building. The rooms are modern but warm. The breakfast is personally prepared. That the owner takes pride in her hotel and service can be seen throughout No complaints. The hotel is outside of Bath. The Fox and Hound next door offers excellent food, so it makes a nice retreat area in the evening.
