On the banks of the Avon River, Old Mill Hotel & Lodge has lovely gardens and stunning views of the countryside surrounding Bath. It is on a site that housed a flour mill until 1907.

The location was away from the city centre but not to far away from Bath city. Parking was not an issue and breakfast was good. The owners were friendly and helpful.
The only problem about the room we were given was that it was facing the main road , which meant there was constant noise of traffic.Due to the traffic noise we were unable to sleep. The other issue was that room five is very small so maybe people should opt for other rooms in the place.
Whilst no issue with paying on arrival, didn't like that we were the only ones to have do so.
Alice and Brett were wonderful. Really welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect, had a great nights sleep.
Basically very easy going and well organised - the room had everything we needed- breakfast was nice
Pictures of London seemed a bit random - more appropriate might have been of something local - on leaving got to know the hosts better and such lovely people - maybe do that stuff more often over breakfast whatever - as your personalities are more important than facilities - go guys :)
We were made very welcome. Our hosts were very friendly and helpfull re- places to visit . Excellent cooked breakfast !!! We would certainly recommend Midway place to others. There is also a lovely little pub next door .
Very friendly and helpfull staff. Will stay here again next time we are visiting bath.
The Tv in room 1 kept freezing up and losing signel.
Clean and modern with friendly staff, good quality breakfast. Pub next door which was handy for dinner.
Really lovely B&B. Great location, friendly staff.delicious breakfast.
Having to leave.
Hosts were fantastic. Very helpful and readily offered advise. Very clean in a quiet location. Probably our best during 5 weeks in U.K.
Own vehicle is a must as is a bit out of town.
Warm welcome from Alice and Brett. Assistance we got arranging our days Very nice breakfast
Rooms a little tight but excellent bathroom.
Beautifully clean. Well laid out. Nice breakfast. Helpful hosts. Comfortable beds. Nice linen and towels. Wonderful pub next door that has a lovely menu and the food is simply delicious.
On a busy main road, too noisy to open windows.
The room was good and clean, as was the bathroom
Breakfast (was not abundant),and not much space in the room for luggage, but most importantly the noise of the traffic that tears past the B&B on the busy road.
Alice is a lovely person, serving a nice breakfast. Near to the beautifull city of Bath in lovely surroundings. The pub nextdoor serves good food in a pleasant atmosphere.
Room was a bit cramped, hurt my toe a couple of times :-) Didn't know the b+b is just beside a busy road, couldn't have the window open.
A small B&B with two big hearts in it! During our 17 day trip alon the south coast we found the best beds, the cleanest room and we got the best full english breakfast ever, made with love every morning. And don't forget to taste Bretts homemade Grenola - exciting! Thanks a lot Brett and thank you Alice for your tips regarding our stay in Bath. Another big THANK YOU to the Fox and Hounds pub for the great lunch in the evening. Everything was perfect.
Location Comfort Helpfulness of owners
TV picture kept freezing Bedroom space was very tight
Comfortable room with plenty of space.Breakfast lovely and staff very friendly and attentive. Location excellent to attend wedding in Bradford on Avon.
A little noisy as on main road from Bath
Great place to stay if visiting the area. We were going to a wedding in Bradford on Avon followed by a reception at the golf course. Very clean and tidy. Lovely people running the place. Breakfast was fantastic, I loved the yogurt and homemade compot and the cooked breakfast was also very good,
Nothing was bad about the place.
We liked Alice and Brett's hospitality, warm welcome, good food, clean welcoming room, the pub next door with great food and delicious full English breakfast prepared by Alice and Brett. Overall it was a great place to stay. We would definitely love to go again.
Luke warm shower and distance from Bath city centre. It is impossible to walk and very difficult to get to by public transit. By taxi it costs you £15-20 one way.
the cleanliness and comfort were good even if the room was small
there was a lot of traffic noise throughout the night if you were a sound sleeper but very noisy at the front
It is a homely and welcoming place to stay. Brett and Alice were helpful with their local knowledge. It is on a busy road but that didn't stop me sleeping. The breakfast is excellent and set us up nicely for the day out. The pub next door serves a decent meal. We stayed two nights at Midway and would not hesitate to go back.
Location in country just out of Bath and proximity to Bradford on Avon. Young couple particularly helpful and professional. Everything was spotless and highly recommend.
Not being able to sample the food at Fox and Hound hotel next door because they don't open on Mondays.
Very friendly staff. Pub next door.
The couple were friendly, helpful and informative. The room was comfortable, clean, the shower excellent and the breakfasts delicious.
Lovely stay at B & B very friendly. Nice quiet pub to eat at in the evening next door.
Brett & Alice were excellent hosts whose willingness to assist & advise us was very much appreciated.
