The staff that we first met to check in was from the restaurant he was just staring at us to begin with , I actually said hello , but got little response , until we asked them if there was anybody around to deal with our request .
The Staff were excellent, they gave a premium service!
It is not pretty close from train station or the centre either
Nice hotel. Enjoyed my stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Wifi free and fast.
Nice room Excellent restaurant Helpful friendly staff
Room very hot and shower temperature hard to regulate
They were one of few hotels in Salisbury who welcomed children. It's just a 5 min walk from the centre of Salisbury and yet there is ample parking. The room was very clean. Everything we needed and comes highly recommended.
Breakfast not included in room rate. At 12.50 extra per head (and we are not big eaters) we decided to eat in a cafe in the centre of Salisbury instead to save money.
Good location, friendly staff, very clean, good bed, excellent breakfast.
Nothing (for the price).
A very pleasant surprise, really attentive staff and for the money excellent food. I stay in many hotels and many expensive hotels should take the management of this hotel as an example of excellence.
We found the location of the hotel good as it was in easy walking distance to the Cathedral which was the main purpose for our visit.
I did not find the staff particularly attentive or friendly. The dinner was not up to expectations, I had the roast which was quite tasty but was gristley and hard to chew. Breakfast was mediocre.
Safe, mostly friendly environment for solo traveller; flat walk into town; spacious room
Average motel-style rooms; air-conditioning kept breaking down and wasn't able to be permanently fixed despite several attempts; room overlooking car park; one receptionist quite rude & impatient; not situated in a pretty part of town.
Breakfast good Dinner good Room and bed comfortable, spacious, quiet and clean.
Choice of beer in bar very limited. No real ales on draft available, just one choice of bottled.
Comfortable accommodation, good location, parking available and very friendly staff.
On the expensive side.
Helpful staff Comfortable rooms, well decorated and equipped Public areas clean and bright Very convenient for the city Centre
A lift would have been useful although there were bedrooms for disabled guests on the ground floor
Restaurant was great, both dinner & breakfast Staff very helpful Short walk into city
Staff was very helpful and courteous
Telephone in room didn't work, and staff couldn't fix it. Room was a long way from lobby, and we had to navigate through closed fire doors with lots of luggage
nice room - excellent bathroom. Staff very helpful.
Bit far from centre of town for restaurants etc.
Room smelled like smoke although there was a no smoking sign in the room.
nice breakfast and rooms decent size.
location, breakfast not included in room rate and full cost taken on day of booking.
Sharon and Hanna at the front desk were wonderful and extremly helpful. I loved this place
My steak was not the greatest. Lacked flavor.
initially upon check in when trying to book a table for dinner it seemed that no space was available however a table was found I was very surprised with the standard of service in this small hotel, the general morale and service was excellent
the room could do with slight updating but generally ok
character of the hotel, bar and food.
heating must have been on full at night because we were roasting!
Friendly staff, spacious rooms, neatly and clean.TV and WIFI connection worked well. They also offer good quality restaurant food. Near to busstop to Stonehenge. Good night's sleep on good beds
Convenient access to A36, Old Sarum and Stonehenge. 10 minute walk to city center, only 5 minutes further to the very impressive cathedral. Bed was comfortable and AC worked fine. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.
We had a comfortable nights sleep and the staff we friendly.
The additional fee for breakfast. The toilet was unclean - it looked as though no one had put bleach and a brush down it for years!
very clean, comfortable and convenient
Staff friendly and helpful food good location great within walking distance of central Salisbury. Very relaxing place Central to a lot of places Late bar for residence
Possibly could have included breakfast for the price but hard to find negatives
