The staff were great. nothing too much trouble for them. Rooms very spacious. enjoyed the jazz band in the bar Monday night.
No gluten free bread on first morning there even though rang few days before arrival to check there would be. Problem solved next morning as someone had been shopping for some.
Location is great We had a big room Nice to be able to use the pool Lots of places to eat. The boat in particular is worth doing
Location,appearance,bar and lounge facilities
Everything , very professionally run , perfect location to explore Chester.
All amenities Real ale bar Leisure facilities Canal resturant
Shortness of stay. Smell in room from newly laid carpet
Great atmosphere and value for money the canal dinner cruise was excellent great food, great canal cruise and excellent value for money
Swimming pool ect and friendly bar staff
Not enough choice At breakfast
The location just outside the city walls was great. Food in the restaurant had plenty of choices and breakfast was excellent.
Our room had a canal view which sounds good but the nearby busy road made it hard to sleep. The window was triple glazed but we had to open it for ventilation. No a/c!! Also drunks in the bar below finally gave up at 2am.(room 504)
We have stayed before at the Mill on this occasion we booked for one night for a birthday break for my wife We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which was excellent We originate from Chester and always enjoy short breaks to the city if you have any offers at certain times please contact us
One could always nit pick we enjoyed ourselves.
Breakfast was nice. Complimentery car park space.
Very noisy, lots of road noise. No aircon and room was quite stuffy. Small, slow lift.
pool area was lovely clean and well staffed. room was a lovely size, clean decent bed. had a wonderful massage and pamper morning which I would recomend. Meal in the canal boat was delicious
room fronted onto a very noisy road windows were not sufficiently soundproofed to reduce this
Great access to city centre and attractions. Good sized pool and excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended
Although the pool area was very good, the water clarity was not.
Great meal on the barge Great location Friendiy staff
Everything was good
Noise very late from people exiting the bar
We loved the staff, the food, the location, the bar, the prices of the food and drink. The bed was amazing g.I could go on and on.
The room was a bit dirty and needed a good clean. The lamps were filthy and we had to call down for toilet roll. Also we could not connect to the free wi do that we were offered.
Great location and free parking a definite benefit.
Location, quality of food in the restaurant, staff, size of rooms.
It's a good hotel for walking in and around Chester City Center staff very friendly food ie breakfast was very good.
Both the bedroom and the breakfast room far to hot. With not enough ventilation / fresh air in the breakfast room
Location was excellent. Nice walk to city center.
No air conditioning in room.
The most comfortable bed in any hotel weve slept in . Nice swimming pool .great bar food .decent bar and prices .
This hotel needs a makeover . Tired decor and dated in general . Lots of walking involved from parts of the hotel .poor changing rooms in leisure centre .broken lift for part of our stay . Average breakfeast ,no mushrooms was a big surprise!!
Good location along side a picturesque canal within ideal walking distance to a beautiful city centre. The staff was very helpfull and friendly ,and the food was very good especially the buffet breakfast it was reasonably priced as was the drinks from the hotel bar .
The room was along side the main duel carrage way with no real sound proof window. It kept my husband awake the both 2 nights we stayed ,which was a treat for his 50 th birthday . Also there was no air conditioning so room was extremely hot and stifling ,we could not open window very far but even what little it opened noise of traffic was even more annoying so couldn't keep it open all night. The little fan they supplied in the room had little effect.
the place was lovely and clean .the meals where excellent very well served by staff. well worth the money. will go again.
Central location Food good standard ie breakfast and dinner
There wasn't anything to dislike
Friendly staff, good facilities and bar was cheap for drinks
Rooms were far too hot but if you opened the window all you could hear was traffic. View off the rubbish bins and main road not exactly nice
I asked for internet network but unfortunately they not supply because of the weakness of it . The breakfast all days the same
