“ It was ideally placed for us - close to the train station (5 minute walk) and to the shopping area. The staff were friendly and helpful. We asked for wheat free options and they were provided for us. The spa facilities were a welcome bonus. ”

The hotel was in an excellent location and the bridge over the canal linking the hotel to the health club was a great idea. It was lovely sitting in the sunshine outside the bar next to the canal. You had to physically open the window to look outside which made the room feel slightly claustrophic and the room we were in was right next to the lift however this was on the basic room tariff.

Excellent location in the heart of Chester. Excellent Spa and Pool with easy free access for residents.Very friendly and helpful Staff. Ample and free car parking. Part of the hotel is very close to a main road

Loved the fact it had a gym, went before breakfast and sets you up for the day. Its location was great , only five minutes from the shopping centre. The building was great, and if you wanted to pamper yourself it was all their, great...... That you had to pay for parking if you wanted to stay longer, that was our only issue, other than that FANTASTIC.

The swimming and spa area though the sauna wasn't working The beds were not comfy and need updating. The TV didn't work correctly all fuzzy and the remote control didn't work and couldn't get sky sports 1. The staff in the restaurant cleared food and cutlery before you had even finished

Close to city centre; excellent for beer; free car park; good breakfast; friendly and helpful staff. Low ceilings - made bedroom rather stuffy; narrow double bed!; some grim surroundings which were not pleasant to walk through after dark.

brilliant location 5 mins to walk to town , right next to the canal, lots of ducks to watch. very clean and well maitained. staff friendly and courteous didnt try the food in the evening as walked into town . buffet style breakfasts they are never very hot would prefer to have breakfast freshly cooked .

The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble, they even moved things around so my husband and I were able to go on the narrowboat meal trip which was fully booked. The food was also excellent, have stayed in expensive hotels which weren't a patch on the food at The Mill.
