Pleasant hotel with in easy walking distance of chester city centre. Also has lovely restaurants and bars just opposite the hotel across the canal.

Room very comfortable and good size but was very hot desite being able to open windows.

Ideally located to walk into Chester. Excellent food. Friendly staff.

Hearing music from Disco until 1pm.

The walk into Chester was 5 minutes away from the hotel alongside a towpath on the Shropshire Union canal. This location was excellent and with ample car parking space. The hotel was most impressive and the facilities were very good for a 3 star rating. The leisure centre and swimming pool were a pleasure to use especially with the subdued lighting. The restaurant was very good and the hotel uses their own Barge for trips out with a dining experience. The staff were extremely pleasant and very relaxed, who appearoed to enjoy working there and that gave a great atmosphere at the hotel. I would be more than happy to stay at The Mill, Chester again,

Visited with a group of 4 girls for the races . Excellent time. Rooms were fabulous . Staff friendly and helpful. Amazing time . Will definitely be back next year

Great hotel, good location, did canal cruiser for Sunday dinner, great fun good company and lovely food.Will be back later this year for my birthday.

Found hair in the bath and plughole, not very nice but otherwise no complaints.

Clean rooms, friendly welcome from reception, Restaurant cruiser was a great experience, definately recommend.

The staff were friendly and obliging, the roof was clean and spacious. This is not the first time I've been here, my son is at university here and we always use this hotel now as we know what to expect and never let down

Entrance to hotel not very welcoming; Would never have found entrance to hotel/car park without Sat Nav

What's not to like. We would have stayed longer if we were able. We will next time. Very welcoming,friendly, helpful staff. Great location on the canal with easy walk to the town and the walls Good well run facilities.

Location, facilities along with great friendly staff. Good food and the canel boat trip and dinner was excellent.

Thin walls and noise guests next door not the hotels fault. Disco on Friday and Saturday nights could be heard clearly in our bedroom on the 3rd floor.

The poor cleaning in the bathroom. There was black mould around bathroom fittings.

rooms were on small side but fine for the price; had hoped to book onto dinner cruise but too late!

Room was a good basic size but no frills. Good quality real ale sold at the bar at reasonable prices.

Breakfast, poor choice and eggs etc left to congeal so not changed often enough. Dinner menu was ratherbasic.
