Very sweet and comfortable single room. Quiet and convenient. Delicious full English breakfast.

The room is very nice and the location is nice. The host there is very hospitable and always ready for giving useful informations.

The owner was very friendly and co-operative. The premises were very clean and the amenities in good order.

We would have liked an additional chair in the suite and possibly access to a lounge available for guests.

Extremely comfortable, quiet and spotless clean accommodation. The single room with the bathroom was just amazing, warm, cosy and the perfect place to go back after a long walk. View of the mountains from the window in the morning is a great start, as well as the breakfast. Howard is a very nice and kind host. Definitely will come back !

Howard(the owner)- very friendly man,always smiling. We travel a lot but that was THE BEST acomodation we've ever had. So nice,clean. Just perfect.

Howard was lovely, a brilliant host, will definitely be going back, his breakfast was delicious, a great start to the day. He made us feel very welcome, without invading our space. Millbeck is a lovely guest house, ran by a lovely man.

Very nice staff as well as the environment.

Although the bathroom is not built into the single room, the facilities are even better than some 5-star famous hotel that I have stayed before. It is a double bed in the single room with high-quality mattress and pillows. The area is really quiet during the night. The breakfast is not bad. In all, Millbeck is suitable for travellers that need to have a good rest. I think the price is much lower than what it should be.

The host is kind of keeping distance from the guests. It is perfect for travellers who do not want to be bothered like me. But I know that some travellers may prefer the hosts who ask you where you are from or what you plan to do.

Spotlessly clean, friendly owner, short walk to both Bowness and Windermere, and, despite being on the floor below, felt very spoiled having such a large, luxurious bathroom all to myself! :)

The host was very welcoming and the rooms and accomodation were excellent. We would definitely recommend to anyone and would return again.

We liked everything about the stay - if anything would have made it better still, it would have been a later breakfast time than between 8- 9am. Only reason being is that we escaped a teething toddler and could have enjoyed the extra lie in.....however the homemade, fresh to order breakfast made the early morning rise worth it..

Sometimes in a small b&b you feel like you are intruding in someones home. This didn't feel like that at all. This was down to the host Howard. He was there when you needed him but otherwise left you to enjoy your stay as you wished. His friendly, easy going style created a great relaxing atmosphere.

The tv had very few channels, not even freeview. Maybe there is a signal/reception issue.
